    Hi Dimitar,

    I just like to let me know a few issues on the Checkout page.

    There is an extra “Optional” text, and also some of the “Optional” texts are not well aligned. Please refer below.

    If these are bugs, please assist to fix them.

    Thanks very much and have a wonderful day 🙂

    Hi Andrew,

    Sorry for the late reply.

    I am afraid we can’t guess what could be wrong by looking at pictures. Please, provide a working link where we can see the problem “live”.

    Basically, the double “Optional” text can’t be theme related. It’s coming from either a third-party checkout related plugin or there is something wrong with your language files.

    Regards,
    Dimitar

    Hi Dimitar,

    Thanks for the reply. No worries.

    The screenshot was taken at your Demo store below:

    The same issue is happening on our store. So I think if you can resolve the issue at your Demo store, it should resolve the same issue at our store as well.

    If you need more info, please feel free to let me know.

    Thanks again 🙂

    Hah.. didn’t expect that.

    OK, we’ll check what could be causing it. Most probably latest WooCommerce version bug, but will now for sure in few minutes.

    In addition, there is one more related thing I would like to point out. On the Cart Page on Mobile, the $ sign infront of Item Prices is also misaligned. Please refer below.

    So, I have used the following Custom CSS to fix it.

    /* Fix $ alignment on Mobile Cart */
    body.woocommerce-cart .woocommerce-Price-currencySymbol {
    vertical-align: baseline;
    }

    Please consider fixing this issue as well.

    Thanks again 🙂

    Hi Andrew,

    it’s fixed in the latest version released yesterday.

    As for the double wording (Optional), this is WooCommerce bug. Since WC 3.6 you can set some checkout fields required or optional. If they are set optional, the word is added to the string. However, the original string also contains the word. So, you have two options:

    1. Install a plugin like Loco Translate and edit the text string

    OR

    2. Wait for the next WC update and hope they fixed it.

    Regards,
    Dimitar

IMPORTANT!!!

Hello everybody! Please, accept our sincere appologies for the delaeyd support last 2 weeks. One of our team members was diagnosed with Covid-19 and we were isolated without the chance to leave home or access our office. We are now back to work and slowly catching up with delayed support tickets. We expect the queue to be cleared and everything to be back to normal schedule by Monday, 29th of June.

Thank you so much for your patience and understanding.

Best regards,
Althemist team
