ParticipantHi! When I search something appears all the results of the site without any filter. Is possible to add categories in the results page? For example, I’m looking for te (tea) and aaaall products with the word “te” appears: teas, rings, etc … I need something more

KeymasterHi artweb.frog,
There is a category filter for the search in the latest theme update.

KeymasterThe easiest way to update the theme and it’s plugins would be with the official Envato Market plugin (included with the theme under Appearance > Install Plugins)

ParticipantThank you.
I updated the theme and now it looks like this.

Is it right? In any case, the search function in this way is completely useless because it makes no sense for you to search for letters in all words, it has to search only for words. If I search for “te” it must find me the products with that word not all words that contain the letters “te”. Also I don’t see the category filterMay 28, 2021 at 4:31 pm #30576Althemist
KeymasterHello artweb.frog,
This is the original WooCommerce/WordPress search. This is how it works and it’s not theme related. We do not alter the search mechanism. By default WordPress (and WooCommerce respectively) will search in the post/product title AND description. As for the category selector – it must be enabled first in the theme options. 🙂
