Hi we are offering sallads to our menu, but there isnt any related sallad icon to have in the “menu links” on the first page.
When adding a custom image, the hovering doesnt work correctly doe its a image and not a svg. The Meny allso doesnt allow upploading any svg icons.

What is a way around?

exactly what do you mean by “the hovering doesnt work correctly”? Please, explain more and if possible give us a link where we can see the problem “live”.

Also, WordPress by default doesn’t allow uploading SVGs. You’d need to use a plugin for this.

Hi again, here comes a link:
https://www.christoshamburgare.nu/ on the top right corner you´ll see “sallad” with a image bowl.

You cant hover on a image and get the same “hover effect” as if you would hover on a the svg flaticon icons we used on all of the other menu items.

So i would like to know how i can upload a svg icon and use it next to my menu item.
If it requires a solution from the backend im more then happy to play around with litle php and js but atleast guide me 🙂

Unfortunately, images can’t change colors on hover. With SVG and custom CSS you may be able to achieve it.
