Dear Team,

I have installed the classic home page style background, but however i am just unable to change the slider background image – the background change option which is under the theme options menu, under shop – have tried removing and replacing the image – but the grey place holder background image still retains.

Have tried changing the background image from the customise section – but there also the place holder back ground still remains and only the bottom portion of the page where the subscribe now tab is there , it only changes there. Tried using WP Bakery also, but just not getting any option there as well. Please help. Also need to know how to change the dimensions of the background image.

Hi Dimitar,

What i understood was the home page slider background is a part of the slider widget and has nothing to do with the page background.

But the classic homepage slider background, there is no way I am able to change the background image using any of the page builder tools or customise options.

Sorry again for the late reply. We were out of the city for the weekend.

Yes, the page content, including the slider is controlled from the edit page screen, not the Customizer.

You’d need to edit the background of the Row inside each slide. For the Home Classic it’d be like this:
