ParticipantHi Dmitry
My blog landing page is showing my posts (blocks) staggered and inconsistent. The rows should be aligned at 2 posts at a time. Can you please review this on various screen sizes on desktop?

KeymasterHi Chanelle,
We have just checked your website. Everything seems absolutely fine. The only problem we see is that it’s extremely slow, so the lazy loaded images take a lot of time to load and form the final layout. Once the images are loaded everything stacks together.

KeymasterYou can post the username and password here. Just don’t forget to mark the “Set as private reply” checkbox.

KeymasterOK, we manage to login.
The first thing we notice is you are using an extremely old version of the theme (more than 18 months old and 11 versions behind the recent version).
Updating the WordPress system, the theme, it’s plugins (including the Zass plugin) and all other plugins should be the first thing to do and most probably that would be the reason for the problems.

KeymasterThe theme is still v. 3.7.9 while the actual version is 3.9.6
Same goes for all the theme bundled plugins (Zass plugin, WP Bakery Page Builder etc.)
As for the code (
[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
) – it looks like you are using the page builder on blog posts, so you should also manually set an excerpt in the excerpt filed below the post content (in your specific case – below the Rank Math SEO content).December 3, 2021 at 10:36 pm #32359Cdupre
ParticipantHOw do i update the theme? Do I log into my themeforest account and redownload the theme and then reinstall it?
I thought this was a simple plugin update but it looks like i have to reinstall the entire theme? What happens if my site completely breaks because i have to reinstall the entire theme?
This is taking forever to solve. Over a week now. Why don’t you just post the instructions and walk through the process yourself because the directions are not very clear and leaves me to guess what im supposed to do. It’s not as easy as updates for other themes.

KeymasterThe easiest way to update the theme would be with the official Envato Market Plugin (included with the theme).
Alternatively, you may download the latest files from ThemeForest and manually update them via FTP (do not attempt to reinstall the theme from the admin).
We are trying to help, but it’s not a simple list of instructions. Before everything else you must be running the latest versions of WordPress and all themes and plugins.
Looks like you changed the admin password, so we can’t login and check what’s wrong now.
