ParticipantHi,
How can I turn off the shop? I’m using Woocommerce Product Search plugin and I want to use this instead of the settings you have.
I tried using the plugin but it’s buggy because of the shop settings.
I contacted Woocommerce and they told me this:
1. There are multiple errors on the page which are unrelated to the search engine but what is causing them will also affect the functionality of the live filtering.
2. When we try to apply a filter, additional errors are created – specifically your setup is blocking a request that the live filters make to the search engine, and that is the reason why the products on the page are not updated accordingly.
You need to get your setup fixed so that these multiple legitimate requests from your site to its own resources are not blocked by your setup. Once you have that fixed, the live filters should work normally too. If you need any help after you have fixed those issues, please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions related to the search engine and its filters.
Can you please help me fix this issue.
I forwarded you the original email from them as there are screenshots of the error.

KeymasterHello John,
Unfortunately, this is not theme related, so we can’t really provide much help. There multiple CORS errors on your site, which is generally a server problem. There is something your hosting security settings that generate the errors.
Also, you can’t “turn OFF the shop” This is how WooCommerce work. It can’t be turned OFF. Also, your Woocommerce Product Search plugin relies on the shop too.
You’d probably need to consult with your hosting support team about the CORS problem.
