ParticipantHi there, all of my food products in the inventory are showing as ‘Zettle status – syncable’ but then ‘not sync’. I cannot see any of my food products in the zettle app and therefore cannot collect payment using the zettle card reader. Any thoughts on how to sync the product inventory with zettle?

KeymasterHi lee_daffin,
I am afraid that’s not theme related. This is just a standard WooCommerce theme. Most probably there is something wrong in your zettle configuration, so I guess you’d need to consult that with the zettle support team.

ParticipantHi there, how about an issue related to emails? I have had a customer pay via the PayPal plugin and there have been no new order emails sent to the email addresses I have specified in the WooCommerce emails section of the theme.

KeymasterAgain, not theme related. Most probably wrong settings OR your hosting doesn’t fully support php_mail, so you may need to install and configure SMTP mails. As you can see all e-mail notifications work on the demo for both the client and the site admin (new account, new order, order status change etc.). It doesn’t really matter if the client pays via PayPal or other method. The e-mail notification system is not related and it should work the same way regardless of payment methods used. The only thing that could break the order process is if the client doesn’t wait to be redirected back to your website. If the close close the browser before the redirect, the transaction is set to failed and the order status is set to canceled, that’s why there are no mails. If the order status in your system is correct it’s mail settings problem.
Hope this helps.

ParticipantThanks for the reply.
You mentioned installing and configuring SMTP emails, I saw that in the email section of the instructions but not sure what you mean or how to do it, I only see the option to insert email addresses, not where to configure the server account details etc. Is there a section somewhere that I add the SMtP server details for this?September 14, 2021 at 1:55 pm #31664lee_daffin
ParticipantAlso, a second customer has placed an order using the WooCommerce payments and a debit card, the payment is just sat at ‘pending payment’ yet I have seen the notification from their bank confirming the payment has been taken from their bank account. I have again, received no notifications of the order being submitted, they contacted us chasing.

KeymasterFor the SMTP mails you’d need to use a plugin like this one:
For the ‘pending payment’ – that’s the reason you got no mails, as the order is not actually confirmed.
Could you, please give us temporary admin access to your site, so we check your WooCommerce settings?
