ParticipantHi Guys,
I am having a problem with the categories display in the drop down menu, at the top of the shop page. Instead of showing a list of product categories, it is showing “summer” and other blog related categories? any ideas? I have removed the search widget, but it removes everything, and I like the ability to search by price (slider) and the search box.

KeymasterHi thegildedprinter,
Not really sure what do you mean. Could you, please provide more info and a working link where we can see the problem? What do you mean by “I have removed the search widget, but it removes everything” and how is this related to the price filter?

Participantthe mega menu. it does not show product categories, it shows blog categories.
when editing the mega menu in appearance->menus i would like to add product categories to the mega menu – however, it only allows me to add categories which are the blog posts.March 16, 2020 at 12:37 pm #21714Althemist
KeymasterHello thegildedprinter,
That’s really not theme related. The menus would display whatever you place there, so make sure you’re adding links from the “Product categories” tab and not from the “Categories” tab. Blog categories and Product categories are in different tabs on the left.

Participantyes, there are categories for me to add – product categories are not available anywhere to add to the menu.

KeymasterWhen you enter Appearance > Menus page and select the Main Menu to edit, check in the top-right corner of the screen for a white “Screen Options” button. Click on it and make sure the Product Categories checkbox is enabled. This is not theme related, it’s how WordPress work.
Hope this helps.
