Hi,

I was searching where to change the the contact form language but couldnt find in theme options. I would like to do it from the theme instead of installing a string translator plugin.
Another issue is I´m trying to update the theme and got a message (in Spanish but translated) “the package is not available”, so cannot update the theme.

Hi Bemarkvigo,

Installing a string translation plugin like Loco Translate is the best possible option. It is highly NOT RECOMMENDED to edit the strings directly for 2 main reasons:

1. All your changes will be replaced with each theme update

2. It may break all other strings

The theme strings for the contact form are in the Lafka plugin, not in the theme.

The second issue is that I´m trying to update the theme and I´m not able to. The message is that “Actualización fallida: Paquete de actualización no disponible.” (Update failed: Update package not available.)

The best way to update the theme would be with the official Envato Market plugin (included with the theme). Alternatively, you may download the latest files from ThemeForest and update manually. Also, with each update, check if there is a new version of theme plugins (including the Lafka plugin) under Appearance > Install plugins.

There is no setup for the contact form other than the shortcode settings. If it doesn’t send mails, it could be a problem with the php mail function on your server. In this case you may need to setup a SMTP mail plugin. Your hosting provider’s support will be the best place to get help on this.
