    Hello.

I have used the banner element you have included in WPbakery (https://prnt.sc/o2521q). As standard it has got white colour for the fonts and lines (https://prnt.sc/o253b9), but on some pictures with light colours, the font is not readible, so I wonder if it is possible to change colour from white to anything else for this banners? It is ok if all the banners will get the same colours, just that it is possible to change it from white.

    Thanks in advance!

Just to make it clearer, it is the banners on the start page (https://prnt.sc/o254z2) and not the category boxes in the shop

Update – When I am inside the wpbakery tool on the page and I click on edit banner, (https://prnt.sc/o25a0x), it comes this box where I am able to choose light theme or dark theme. Is it possible to change any of these colour schemes to any other colour? I really need to do that otherwise the text becomes a little bit unreadible.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi trinityway3,

The banner element only offers light and dark modes. The only way to change the colors would be to modify the CSS for one of the schemes – e.g. CSS customization is the only option in this case.

Ok. I understand. If I want to make a CSS customization, where can I find the CSS code to make the changes?

    Hi trinityway3,

It’s not a good idea to edit CSS directly. I’d suggest using the Customizer “Additional CSS” field or ideally – activate the child theme and make changes in it’s style.css

    Hello again.

I don’t know if your have seen my last reply, but if I want to make the changes in the Style.css of the child theme, what part of the code shall I change to change the colour?

    Thanks in Advance!

    Hello trinityway3,

In the child theme’s style.css there are no rules to change. It’s an empty file and you’d need to write your own rules to overwrite the original theme CSS.

The classes you need alter are:

    .wpb_babystreet_banner a h4, .wpb_babystreet_banner a h5, .wpb_babystreet_banner a h6, .babystreet_banner_buton

    for color.

    AND

    div.babystreet_whole_banner_wrapper:before

    for border-color

    Regards,
    Dimitar
