ParticipantHi Dimitar,
I am clueless of what happened and IF this is related to the yesterdays Rigid Theme update, which i updated just now prior noticing this problem.
Problem is: before 3 days i have changed many of the main Product / Attributes names. Say from “Canvas Size” to “Select Canvas Size”.
Then when i visit at the frontend a few of my products such as the below ones:
https://www.yiassu.com/product/new-york-canvas-art/ ,
https://www.yiassu.com/product/peacock-painting-art-on-canvas/,
https://www.yiassu.com/product/bud-buddha-art-on-canvas/,
https://www.yiassu.com/product/women-bags-summer/
https://www.yiassu.com/product/makeup-pencil-case/everything looks ok. Variations name is changed as well and you can select the variation you want, add it to your cart, order it etc.
BUT when i did that just now in ingognito… all these products variations have an “X” on top of them, as if are out of stock or variations are not available etc. BUT…. still you can click on them, add them to cart, and order them!! Isn’t this weird?
Is this a Theme update related problem OR a Cache problem… or?
I went through all the above products and I have checked and make sure that quantities are managed under variation level etc etc, so all seem to be good. I am out of clues of what is causing this problem. To be noted that i have other Canvas Art products or for that matter, many other products for which i changed the attributes names, and are working just fine! Such as this one: https://www.yiassu.com/product/black-canvas-art/ which i visit through ignognito mode and are showing just fine.
I am really lost on what happened.
Please have a look and let me know if this is Theme related problem or not?
Thanks

ParticipantJust to be clear:
Backend: Products > Attributes > Configure Terms: this is where I have changed the Terms titles (not the URLs though), for many many products. I have done nothing else. Then, that worked for many many products. At the frontend, i can see the variation changed and the swatch label is clear.
BUT as I said above, for many other products, as per the links provided above, at the frontend they have an “X” on top of the variation label!! What caused that to happen? Thanks

KeymasterHi Yiannos,
This is definitely not related to the theme update.
Basically, there are 3 possible reasons – they are either not in stock, OR you’d need to recount terms and regenerate product lookup tables under WooCommerce > Status > Tools OR your cache settings are too aggressive. Could you, please check if disabling the cache plugin would fix the problem? I can see an extreme amount of JS errors on your product pages related to the cached and minified JS files.
All linked products (except this one – https://www.yiassu.com/product/black-canvas-art/ ) are marked with X in both standard mode and incognito mode.

KeymasterHi Yiannos,
It would take probably a month to finish all the new features. Anyways, we don’t plan to have “a real fullwidth” on all pages. Not really sure even exactly do you mean by that. For pages built with the page builder it’s possible even now. However, you can achieve this on all pages with CSS, but it would never be included as an option in the theme itself.

ParticipantHi Dimitar,
Ok.
Well, when for me Full Width its a page that covers the width of the pc, edge to edge!. Same as ebay page https://www.ebay.com/.
Now, although i have ALL pages in the website (all of them including products and non products pages), in full width right now, none is ‘real full width’ (edge to edge on the pc screen!)If i am missing something OR if there’s a CSS you can give me to achieve that… please go ahead.
Thanks

ParticipantHi Dimitar
Back to our initial subject: “product variations are marked with an “X””.
I was wrong after all, it WAS NOT the cache plugin fault. Problem still remains.Have a look into your own web theme product…. https://rigid.althemist.com/wc-marketplace/product/printed-rayon-top-copy/
It behaves similarly 🙂 Despite being in stock and anyone beign able to order it…. it has that weird “X” on top of the variations!!!!!So, despite your prompt dismissal on this issue not being a Theme Related… I guess it is after all.
Please provide us with a firm timing when this will be resolved. It already caused us a HUGE amount of resources finding a solution to the problem, needless to mention the SALES we have lost form customers !!!!

KeymasterHello Yiannos,
We are checking this now. It looks related to the latest WooCommerce update. Will let you know ASAP.

KeymasterWe managed to replicate the problem. It’s caused by the latest WooCommerce version indeed and it only happens in some configurations and usage scenarios. Update with fix will be released in few hours.
Thanks for your feedback.
