I have purchased and downloaded the theme and started building. Seems great.
    A few quick questions.

    The site is live.
How can I have/show a “Coming Soon” page that I can show until I want the site to be shown.
I really do not want to show a half built, in progress site.
I can not find this setting anywhere.

When I am making menu entries I am only able to have 3 options.
One of the reasons I chose this theme was because the demo shows I can have those options (s,m,l)
and ALSO another 2 options (maybe more? “thin crust and buttery crust”) and also more toppings.
I need to add salad dressing options for the salads and also gluten free and calzones for the pizza.
How do I activate those features?
    Example here on your demo.

Thank you. I am excited to show off our restaurants new website when it is finished.

    Hello Longer Summers,

    1. You can simply build a coming soon page without site navigation and assign it as a “Home page”. The theme offers a “blank page” template (no header, footer and menu) and also a Coundown timer if you wish.

Alternatively, you can use a special plugin (there are many free plugins like this). With a plugin, the good thing is that the website will be in Coming Soon mode for everyone except the site admin (easier to work on the site and navigate it).

    2. The “Restaurant menu” functionality only offers 3 positions for options. This functionality is built for simpler menus. If you need to use the full power of the theme, you’d probably need to use WooCommerce products as they are way more flexible.

That’s exactly the case with link you posted – these are NOT menu entries, but WooCommerce products. With real WooCommerce products you can have as many “variations” you wish (e.g. size S/M/L/Family), you can add unlimited number of addons (e.g. toppings, crust type etc.), upsell and cross sell products (e.g. – would like fries with that burger) etc.

If you have imported the demo data, all those options would be already enabled. Otherwise, you’d need to enable them following the instructions in the theme documentation:

    https://althemist.com/docs/lafka/

    Hope this helps.

    Best Regards,
    Dimitar

    Hello Longer Summers,

Sorry for the late reply. We had some unexpected problems in the office.

    1. Yes, you can import demo data under Theme Options > Import demo tab. You can choose the demo that suits your needs best.

    2. No, there is no reason why you should NOT install the demo. IT was made to give you a quick start, so you can see how are things done. You can simply replace the existing content with yor own and delete whatever you don’t need.

    3. The WP Bakery will be updated with a theme update later today.

    4. Basically, the “Restaurant Menu” functionality was built for those restaurants that don’t want to offer online orders. It’s a static menu list. However, you can still link menu items to existing woocommerce (sellable) products. You don’t need to use them both. If you plan to offer online orders and delivery (or local pickup) you can only use WooCommerce products.

    5. Global addons can be applied to a specific group of products – e.g. product category. So, if you create a “Salad toppings”, you’d need to assign them to the Salads category. For the pizza toppings you’d need to create a new group and associate it with the pizza category.

The “Build your pizza” product types have the global addons disabled (excluded) and using the per-product addons.

    6. Yes, the demo offers almost a complete site. You can use it to learn how it works and than delete the things you don’t need. It’s the same with any theme offering demo data import. We don’t think it’s overwhelming. It’s just the standard learning curve for such a complex product.

However, if you really think you’d like a refund, we’d approve it.

    Regards,
    Dimitar

    Hello Longer Summers,

We will approve your refund request in minutes. Please, note that the refunds are handled exclusively by Envato team, so you’d probably need to wait for 2-3 days before it’s processed.

I am pretty sure nothing beats our theme in terms of functionality, so we’d be happy to see you again if you decide to switch back to Lafka theme at some point.

    Regards,
    Dimitar
