when a customer tries to contact us through the contact us form they keep getting “email not send. please try again” message – where can I check the smtp settings on the contact us form?

Also, am I missing something – I am looking for a search bar for the forum but cannot find it here – I went through about 20 pages then decided to post this question about the email form instead.

Most probably your hosting php mail settings are wrong. The easiest way to edit the SMTP settings would be with a plugin like WP Mail SMTP:

I uinstalled wp-amtp and the error log is showing this as the error:
Mailer: Other SMTP You must provide at least one recipient email address. Lafka Plugin

for a contact form I have my email address set as teh receiving email address – what am I missing?
