    Hi guys,

I need the Jetpack plugin on my site in order to, first of all, use the woo commerce app on my phone. It’s the only way to take orders I had in mind since I bought this theme. The problem is that Jetpack is in conflict with another plugin or with the theme itself because the reload time after I installed it was really big. The CPU usage goes to 100% all day long and I am the only visitor because the site it’s not ready yet. I’ve checked with the server provider and they said to get to you. Can you help or are the ones from JetPack the ones I am suppose to contact?

    Thank you!

    Hi denis_trs,

JetPack works absolutely fine with the theme. In fact, it is active on all 6 theme demos, so the conflict is definitely not with the theme and it’s plugins.

Could you, please provide a link to your site? We may be able to check which resource is causing the delay in loading.

    Regards,
    Dimitar

    Hi! Sure thing: https://shaormahouse.ro/

It will be a great help to take a look and let me know what the problem is. I will reactivate Jet Pack now so you can find if there’s anything wrong with it or if it’s something else.

    Thanks a lot!

Your site is really a bit slow, but I don’t see any connection with the JetPack. It’s not fully optimized and also there are missing resources failing to load. I’d suggest fixing the unloadable resources and optimizing the site completely. e.g. – your images can be optimized by 11-25% with https://tinypng.com/ or a plugin like SMUSH.

Check the stats (and the Waterfal tab) here to see what can be improved:

    https://gtmetrix.com/reports/shaormahouse.ro/VpoJAsHD

It looks like your JS is not combined and deferred and there are many images that can benefit from optimization. Basically you have too many requests on your pages.

    Hope this helps.

    Hello again, Dimitar!

JetPack wasn t activated earlier when you checked. It is active now and whenever I enter the site the CPU usage goes to 99% and the loading time goes to over 25 sec. Can you please, check again?! The difference between when it’s active and when it’s not is SO BIG.

Also, I all the images where already modified with tinypng and I ve also got the smush pluging and everything seems ok. I still see an error from the revolutionary slider which is mandatory to the theme.

    Thanks again!

I didn’t get to install it. Can you please check again now?

The thing is I have already made all my images smaller using exactly tinypng, I have now installed the SMUSH plugin and everything seems ok but somehow the moment I am activating JetPack the CPU usage goes to 99% and the loading time goes crazy.

Also, on GT metrix the biggest problem appears to be from the revolutionary slider, which is a mandatory plugin for this theme and also seems not to be upgraded to the latest version which I can’t do whitout buying a plan.

Revolution slider is definitely NOT mandatory. We just have it included in case someone need it. We don’t even use it in any of the demos, so you can just uninstall it. However, I don’t really think the problem is caused by the Revolution Slider.

May be there is some feature enabled in your jet pack which requires more hosting resources. It’s definitely not theme related, as it’s active on all 6 demos of the theme.

Which versions of PHP and MySQL is your server running on?

    Hi!

I’ve deleted revolutionary slider and it says: The following recommended plugin is currently inactive: Revolution Slider. Begin activating plugin | Dismiss this notice. That’s why I said it looks mandatory.

Already asked the host about upggrade and they said it will not help me buy another plan with more CPU or anything and that it’s most likey something from jet pack or another pluging conflicting with the theme. I really don’t know what to do exactly.

Could you, please provide temporary admin access details, so we can check if we diagnose the problem further?

    Hello denis_trs,

Everything seems to me with your website, except the loading speed. I believe the problem comes from the JetPack stats module. It takes time to load as it’s an external service (not on the same server. One of the biggest load times is for the following external resource:

    https://shaormahouse.ro/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/https://stats.wp.com/s-202028.js

Also, it looks like the other slow elements are:

    https://shaormahouse.ro/?wc-ajax=get_refreshed_fragments

    and

    https://shaormahouse.ro/?wc-ajax=get_refreshed_fragments

This means the server is slow at responding to these requests.

May be if it’s a shared hosting, the CPU is oveloaded.

I’d suggest disabling WordPress HeartBeat and also default wordpress cron jobs to be stopped and moved to the cpanel cron jobs with larger periods.

Also, keep in mind that your facebook integration slows down the site too.

There are also some other things to be optimized on your site which would improve the siatuation – e.g. use minification and combine your resources (JS an CSS), so the total number of requests is smaller.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,
    Dimitar

    Hello again!

After all this time, the website still goes very slowly, even when I try to work on wordpress it takes forever to load. And now, I have tried to upload the new updated file and I am getting this message: “An error occurred. Your account may be over its quota or you attempted to upload a folder.”

I still don’t know what is wrong because every IT team I have asked about this told me it’s something from the theme and you guys are telling me it’s something from the hosting, or from the FB integration (which I dissabled), etc.

Can you please take another look into this problem?

    Thank you!

    Hello denis_trs,

Looking at the message you get, it looks like your hosting plan have very limited resources. I’d suggest moving to a proper hosting company. You can even find coupon codes for discount here:

    Deals & Coupons

We strongly recommend SiteGround, but there are other good providers too.

It’s definitely not a theme related problem.

    Dimitar

As I said before, I have spoken with my hosting company and they told me the plan I have is more than enough for the amount of data I have on this site.

Also, I have checked the packages from SiteGround, the hosting you suggested and they have the exact same plan I have from my hosting company (with fewer monthly supported visits actually and a higher price).

What amount of space do you recommend for my website? I have 10 GB SSD, CPU 3 GHz + SSL and ~30,000 Visits Monthly. And now it’s working like this with no visitors at all because we couldn’t get it online because of the loading time problem.

I have this plan bought for at least 5 other web sites I manage and none of those are moving slow. This one, with lafka theme is the only one that has loading problems.

It is very important for me to deliver this web site to my client without having to charge him extra for another hosting program because we all agreed 10 GB and ~30,000 Visits Monthly are more than enough for our targeted audience. Let me know if the theme itself needs more space or if you detect something that went wrong with my theme upload or smth.

    Thanks again!

And please help me with the update because now I have at least 3 notifications on wordpress that I need to upgrade the theme and there is no way I can do it because of the error I mentioned: An error occurred. Your account may be over its quota or you attempted to upload a folder.
