    Hi,

I’d like to customize the look of the related post below each blogpost. I’d like to remove the author and date from that template, but I can’t find the right place to change.

    Thanks
    Markus

    Hello marfert,

those can not be removed. You can only visually hide them with custom CSS.

    Hello Dimitar,

I believe using the child theme it would be possible to change the template file that is responsible for that. Hiding via css is not an option for me because the links will persist.

Hope you can understand and help me out.

    Thanks
    Markus

    Hello Markus,

I understand. I’ll ask our lead developer Alex to give you instructions how to achieve this (if it’s possible).

Please, allow a bit more time.

    Regards,
    Dimitar

    Hello Dimitar,

thank you! I already found out. If anyone is trying to do the same: I just had to make a copy of content-related-posts.php and put it into the child theme folder. In line 93 of that file you will find get_template_part( 'partials/blog-post-meta-bottom' );, which is responsible for showing author and date. Just comment out this part and everything works fine.

    Hi Markus,

    Yes, that is correct.

    Alex
