This is my website and I have already tried 2 times to import the demo correctly however each time the demo appears without restaurant menu content and the menu header is a total mess.

The restaurant menu pages are empty however in the backend the menu items are present. I want to test these things out before I install my woocommerce store.

Plus the header triangle looks weird when you scroll down. I can see the same odd shape appear when you scroll down and the logo section triangle looks different however in the demo I installed it is completely off.

We can’t check your website, as it looks like you have the location confirmation popup enabled, but no branches are created, so we can’t go past the check.

Also, we can’t tell what could be wrong by just looking at the site’s frontend. Please, provide temporary admin access, so we can check.

Hi khanfarhatabassum,

There was something wrong with the restaurant menu items and categories IDs. Probably something went wrong during the import. You’d only need to set the shortcodes on those pages again by choosing the right categories to display. We did this on the main “Menu” page here:

Everything seems fine to me with the logo background shape. Could you, please explain more? Exactly what’s wrong there?

Check this folder I have a screenshot of the logo container shape when we scroll down the shape changes and look like this, I have checked the original demo and there also I found this issue, where there was a small shape change recorded.

The shape is a bit weird but not fully triangle as before when scrolling down.

Apart from these issues,
I have tried importing the demo thrice and every time a similar issue, I want you to check the demo files again and correct this for future customers.

Also, I only want to import the main demo rather than all the other demo pages being loaded which will make my website quite big and will take longer to load, Is there any way to load only the main demo without the other demo data being imported with the same?

1. Could you please tell us what’s your screen resolution? Also, do you have scaling applied (in display settings OR browser zoom)? We are trying to replicate the logo background shape problem, but we couldn’t.

2. We have tried the import several times and it works absolutely fine, including the Restaurant menu items and demo pages. We’d recommend resetting your WordPress with a plugin like “WordPress Reset” before the import so the post and category IDs are not messed by the previous installation.

As for the demo content – when you import the main demo it is just the main demo.
