Hello,
I’m building a pizzeria site with Lafka, I am very satisfied, very good job, but I have a problem and I can’t find the right solution. I have several restaurants but not the same pizzas, some dishes are different depending on the restaurant. I am looking for the best solution so that the user can select the restaurant closest to him when he arrives on the site or on the “online order” page and especially once the selection is made, present him in the shop only the pizzas that they can order. Do you have any ideas for perfect plugins for this? Should I create subdirectories or subdomains?

I have good news for you.

You don’t need a plugin for that. Next week we will release the new theme version and everything you need will be included there (branches, different products for branches, location check and restaurants that serve your area, delivery or pickup choice, delivery zones drawn directly on Google maps etc.). If you can wait just few more days, you’ll get all these as built-in theme features.

Hi prochopin,

All new features are available since v.4.0 released on 15.02.

Make sure you have updated not only the theme, but also it’s plugin (Lafka plugin). When everything is up to date, you’ll see the new features. They must be first enabled in Theme Options and then you just need to follow the instructions in the documentation.

Several problems:

– the first: I can’t get Google Map to work, I did create a validated billing account and an API key but it doesn’t work, is there another setting to make?
– linked to the first, must I have the second API key if I do not use “distance matrix”
– the second: I am missing tabs and options related to localization, on your documentation I see the differences, for example I have no possibility of managing the branches and the pop-up.

Can you help me ?

Hello,

You can forget the previous message, I was missing an update that I had not seen and Google solved the problem for me on the maps to display.

However, two new problems with the new localization options:

– the pop-up window is displayed incorrectly on the site, how can I send you a screenshot to show it to you?
– I chose only the local pickup method, so the pop-up shouldn’t ask me for the user’s address, but it asks me anyway.

– You can upload the screenshot images on your site (or image share service) and post the links here. However, keep in mind we can’t just guess what could be wrong on a website by looking at screenshots. It the same if you show your mechanic a picture of your car and ask him why the engine won’t start.

– Sounds like there is really something broken on your site. The popup doesn’t show the delivery tab with the address field at all if you set only pickup.

If you give us temporary admin access to your site we may try to investigate the problem for you.
