ParticipantHi, I have a clothing for babies e-commerce created with Woocommerce. I changed my old theme and installed the Babystreet theme.
On the product page, all sizes now appear, but I need only available sizes to appear.
My warehouse is managed by an external program that creates a series of sizes from 0 to 36 months, in which all sizes are present, but obviously not all available.October 11, 2020 at 12:40 pm #26329Althemist
KeymasterHello erbesso,
I am afraid this is how WooCommerce work. All existing variations are shown and if there is no stock they just can’t be ordered.
There are tutorials on the internet on how this can be changed, but they would require some PHP coding knowledge and experience. It also doesn’t work with more than 5-6 variations. That’s why we didn’t include that in the custom theme features. It jsut can’t be done properly with WooCommerce.
Here is an example:
WooCommerce: Disable Out of Stock Variations @ Variable Product Dropdown

ParticipantI’ve tried but it doesn’t work, even with other plugins. Maybe this is only possible when you have variations managed within woocommerce? I use an external management software for the warehouse.
I have the same problem with the size filter. The filter considers all the sizes contained in the size-attribute list set by the external management system and does not consider the variations that are really available.
Do you have any suggestions for me? I have many products where only one size is available and it’s bad that the user will have to click through all 36 sizes to know which one is really available. With the previous theme, however, only the available size appeared, with a drop-down menu. With your theme, Babystreet, very cute dots appear, but all sizes (also not available). Thanks

KeymasterWell, in your case most probably the external system is causing the problem. I am afraid we can’t really help with third party systems integration.

Participanthello, the developer of my warehouse management system believes that it does not depend on him but on the theme. In fact, everything was ok with the previous theme.

KeymasterHello erbesso,
We are sorry, but there is nothing we can do. Looks like the snippet doesn’t work because those products have many variations.
As my colleague said, this is not yet implemented in WooCommerce properly. Hopefully they will add it soon.I am curious to understand which is the previous theme that you had and the variations with zero quantity where not possible to be selected.
