ParticipantHello Althemist,
I now have preinstalled the whole WordPress few times and followed the instructions to install the demo after installing all the required plugins including Woo Commerce and WC Marketplace, but it seems it duplicates certain pages namely shop, my account, cart, checkout, dashboard. I have deleted those and everything is fine for Woo Commerce.
However I encounter the same problem with the other plugin WC Marketplace. It duplicates Vendor Dashboard and Vendor registration pages. Shall I delete the initially created WC marketplace pages and then install the demo? I tried that, and the add product functionality did not work. There is no way I can see how it looks on your demo as I cannot register as vendor and see how the vendor dashboard looks like. I do not want to be stuck with the default WordPress style for the vendors’ dashboard. Please, provide a screenshot of your vendor dashboard and advise how to proceed. I think manual needs to be more explicit on the demo installation.
Best regards,

KeymasterHi Plenerism,
1. Yes, that would be the best option.
2. You can register a vendor account on the Marketplace demo of the theme.

ParticipantHello Althemist,
regarding point 2. I have registered a vendor account on the demo before escalating the second point above. I require definitive steps to not duplicate the two vendor pages, former is Vendor Dashboard with slugs dashboard and wcmp, and the latter duplicated page is Vendor Registration with slugs vendor-registration and wcmp_vendor_registration. I cannot use the add product functionality on your theme link here …/wcmp/add-product/ as it is broken due to the mixed duplicate pages. Please, provide definitive steps how to deploy those two WC marketplace pages from the theme(default slugs should be wcmp and wcmp_vendor_registration) without the conflict. When the WV Marketplace plugin is installed and activated, the functionality and the view is broken, not to mention that it redirects from the links in one of the duplicated pages that must come with the theme to the slug structure of the original WC Marketplace path. I am looking forward to the steps to prevent that. And those steps should be described in the manual, not to do dozen of installations and try to guess which step to intertwine!
Best regards,

KeymasterHi Plenerism,
No matter which one you delete and which one you leave. It just needs to be properly pointed in the WCMp settings.
If you give us temporary admin access to your site, we can set this for you.

ParticipantThank you Althemist,
I see the vendor dashboard is with the default style for the WC Marketplace. I assume you have noticed that there is a link under the vendor profile (top-right corner) in the vendor dashboard with few links listed there. One is for WordPress Backend, and I do not want this link there, as vendors would goin access to some administrative options on the site. Do you have a ready solution on that, at the moment my-admin page can still be accessed by those vendors.
Best regards,
