When on a shop page looking at a list of products using the WooCommerce Product Category element, some of the product names don’t fit within the product column and so words are missing. I want the product name to show on two lines if it’s too long for one line. Currently, the product name doesn’t move to two lines, but instead adds a ‘…’ on the end of the first line.

Please can you let me know how to change this, so the full product name is always displayed? I’ve added the link below to the shop page I’m referring to. You’ll see some product names don’t fit in the square for each product. I imagine this needs some custom css so if you have a code snippet that would be really helpful!

    Thanks

    Hello raoul_k@hotmail.co.uk,

You can find instructions on how to remove the product title shortening here:

How to make entire product title show?

    Hope this helps.

    Hey Dimitar,

Thanks for that – it worked! I’m sorry I have another related question.

I’d like to remove the ‘sold by <vendor>’ text on the shop page for each product. Currently every product shows ‘Sold by ‘ and the the name of the vendor who sells that product. I don’t want to show this text on the Shop page. Do you have a code snippet that can remove this?

    Thanks again

    Hello raoul_k@hotmail.co.uk,

There is a setting for this in the multi-vendor plugin options.

Can you show me where this setting is? I’ve looked through the ‘Shop’ settings in ‘Rigid Theme Options’ and can only find a setting called ‘Manage Buttons Visibility on Listings’ which hides all buttons but doesn’t hide the ‘sold by <vendor> text’.

I would like to keep the buttons such as ‘Add to basket’, but hide the ‘sold by <vendor>’ text above it. Do you know how to do this?

As I already explained, this is not theme related. It’s located in the settings of your multi-vendor plugin.

Ah my apologies I misunderstood, thanks for your help!
