i’m trying to edit my blog post home page (title and photo) but when I edit the page and choose
1) Front End (WP Bakery)
2) Back End (WP Bakery)
3) Gutenberg Editor

My WP Bakery edit mode doesn’t load up and shows a blank page instead.
It tells me to activate my copy and leads me to try to pay for a license. This came with the theme I purchased, and it is activated on the home page. Why am I not able to change edit the blog home page using WP bakery yet i can use it on other pages?

Hello Cdupre,

The main blog page in WordPress is not editable and this is not theme related. It’s the same with any theme. However, you change the title, header type and image under Theme Options > Blog. (same goes for the Shop page).

As for the WP Bakery (and Revolution slider) – The WP Bakery Page builder and Slider Revolution are so-called “bundled plugins”. They are fully functional and doesn’t require activation. However, you don’t own a separate license and you can’t have automatic updates. New versions of the plugins are shipped with theme updates.

As for the carousel problem – we’d need to see problem “live”. Please, provide a working links, as we can’t tell what could be wrong by looking at a picture/screenshot.
