ParticipantHi I just installed the fast-food template with sample data on thefarmcafe.ca. I selected the first Homepage as the static selection because I thought it would match the default look on the demo. However, this is not the case. The slider images are different, the category list doesn’t display, the yellow graphic that bounces with a smartphone doesn’t display, the three banner Buttons don’t display, the sides don’t display and the more burgers button takes me to a 404 page. Please advise on how to fix this.
Second, I elected not to have the delivery pop up show at the start of the site but on the checkout page. However it says an error occured in the address bar and the detect address button doesn’t work at all. I’m sure I follow all the directions and pasted in the Google Ali keys. Please help me.

KeymasterHi Roarus,
We can’t check your website, because the location confirmation popup blocks the access and you don’t have any branches.
As for the error in the address bar, it’s caused by Google API error. It looks like your API keys are not set to use the right services.
If you give us temporary admin access to your site, we can check what else could be wrong.

ParticipantI also want to add that you guys have the very best WordPress templates I’ve ever seen. Way better than anything else I have seen and I’ve looked extensively. Way better than anything on Templatemonster. I hope the tech support matches the quality of your templates. I have consistently seen your templates rank in top template sites, often appearing at no. 1! Well done guys. I would be willing to pay for tech support after one year. Just tell me how and I will pay it. I plan I buying a template for every ecommerce site I build from here on out. My site has a few bugs in it but it is probably from me not configuring something correctly in the settings. My site loads lightning fast, a problem I have had with other templates. If you could help me with my problems, I would be eternally grateful. Thanks guys.

KeymasterHi Roarus,
This is definitely the old demo content (pre v.4) of the Lafka theme. Is it possible that you purchased the theme before v.4 and later updated to the most recent version?
What we see there is the latest version, but with old demo. You’d need to reset your installation with a plugin like WP Reset
and re-install the latest version of the theme. In two words the best thing you can do is start over.
As for the order confirmation popup, there is no way to show it on the checkout page only. It is either enabled or disabled. The controls are only for the “change location” module, but the popup appears wherever the users land on the site, so you can check if they fall within your service area before they can add products to their cart.

ParticipantThanks for getting back to me. I just downloaded the theme from themeforest about two weeks ago. There is no way I had a previous version already of the old demo unless that is what came with it. I just installed what came with the zip folder. But i don’t mind starting over I didn’t make that many changes. I can send you the zip folder if you wish to see for yourself. Thanks again.

KeymasterHi Roarus,
Do you want us to reset your site, install the latest version and import the demo?

ParticipantNo thanks. I have already done that and it’s working fine now. One question I have though, is how do I get the shipping address on the checkout page if I elect not to use the pop window upon visiting the site? Thanks again

KeymasterI am afraid there is no way to dot this. You either use the popup to determin the client’s address before they can use the site OR you leave them to manually fill the address (e.g. – if you serve the whole city).

ParticipantHi. That’s fine, how do I get them to manually enter in the shipping address on the checkout page?

ParticipantHi. Can you please help me out with this? How do I get customers to manually enter in the delivery address if I don’t use the pop up. I’m referring to the checkout page. Thanks

KeymasterIf you want them to manually enter the address on checkout, just disable the location confirmation popup under Lafka Sipping Settings > Branch Locations
