ParticipantSelecting the featured image in wordpress is seen in the header of the pages. How do you hide?

KeymasterHello petit,
As I already explained, calling the support team incompetent and leaving a 1-star review when we are trying to help and give you directions where to look for the issues is not the best way to get your problems solved!
Also, as far as I remember, you “had to fix” our “code errors”, so the theme is now modified and we can’t give you any directions for modified code.
If you set a featured image – it is displayed as featured image. Here is more information on featured images functionality and how do they work:

ParticipantHello Dimitar.
01. I’m sorry if I haven’t expressed myself well, I’m using a translator. When you put a highlight image, it appears in the web header, and it shouldn’t.

02. You must accept negative reviews the same as positive ones. You didn’t help me at all, you just replied “it’s probably something in your Loco Translate settings. It could also be related to your maintenance plugin or some other plugin conflict”. That’s a guess, not a solution.
I hope you solve the problem so you have a second chance to prove that technical support is good. No excuses, solutions.
Thanks.

KeymasterHello petit,
1. The featured image is in the content, not in the header. It works absolutely the same with any theme. Additionally, our theme offers an option most themes don’t – you can assign a featured image and hide it in the content, but that’s for standard posts only. The option is not available for pages. Pages in general are not supposed to have a featured image. You’d need to either remove the featured image OR visually hide it with CSS.
2. We know how to handle negative reviews when they are justified. We were trying to help you with something that works perfectly fine for everyone except you. Fixing your incorrect Loco Translate settings is not in the scope of the technical support. Buying a license doesn’t buy you a personal developer to work on your website and teach you how to use third-party plugins. The theme is FULLY translatable and translating strings with Loco Translate works absolutely fine if done properly. We have even gave a link to see it works fine.
I am afraid we don’t offer excuses and we have nothing to prove, so we will pass on the chance you gave us!
As per our support policy:
Support covers getting setup, using features and fixing general bugs/issues with our themes up to the WordPress, Plugins & Browsers versions stated in the product page. If you require help for issues that are not within this scope, such as on how to use default WordPress functionality then we’d likely redirect you to external articles or support forums instead.
We only cover support for our themes and plugins, and cannot give general WordPress support that isn’t related to the specific functionality of our themes. For general WordPress questions and problems, you will have to use http://www.wordpress.org/support
We truly understand that there is a fine line between what is considered support & modifications. So whilst we will try help you with any type of query (support or modification), we cannot provide extensive help in terms of modifications. Technical support and bug fixing will always take priority over modification support!
We cannot provide support for code customization or 3rd party plugins. If you need help with customization of your site/theme then you should enlist the help of a developer.
Additional help for issues not covered by the standard support is usually provided based on user’s attitude! I hope you understand!
I am afraid you are currently not in position to “demand” or giving “chances”!

ParticipantYou’ve written 417 words but you haven’t indicated how to hide the featured image…
..and then you don’t understand why I only give you a single star.

KeymasterWe did actually:
You’d need to either remove the featured image OR visually hide it with CSS.
and also:
Additional help for issues not covered by the standard support is usually provided based on user’s attitude!
You should probably concentrate on the words and also start reading between the lines instead of counting them. 🙂
And yes, we perfectly understand why you gave us a single star. 🙂
