    Hello,

I’m finalizing a site, what you did here is a great work !

Nothing to say but you know, we can always find little things…

1 – Thinking I was on the end, I just realized that I’ll have to re-create all the products in the “restaurant menu” (who were already created with woocommerce’s products). I understand that some people don’t want to sell online certain products that are on the menu but, it would be so great if we could link a product when creating a new menu entry, to fill it automatically… And maybe to keep it synchronised. Or maybe I missed something

2 – This on the other hand is more complicated and perhaps less common but how to do if the customer has two or more restaurants, to manage which one prepares the order ? And so I’m telling this but like I said, you already made amazing work.

    Thanks !

    Hello Yoann,

    1. I am afraid there is no way to synchronize the “restaurant menu items” and the WooCommerce products. The “restaurant menu” custom post type is for restaurants that only want to list their menu, but don’t take online orders. For orders you’d need to use WooCommerce products only. If you chose the restaurant menu because of the listings design, the theme offers the same design for woocommerce products too (just enable “list view” for product display in the Theme Options > Shop tab and/or product shortcodes).

    2. There are many ways to do this – either two different websites in a multi-site network WordPress installation or a multi-vendor plugin and two stores in it with the option to chose a restaurant before you order. Probably the easier one would be with a multi-vendor plugin like WC Marketplace. Anyways, if you need both restaurant managers to receive their own push notifications on new orders you’d need to use the first option.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,
    Althemist
