I was working on customizing my homepage and suddenly on the home page the first slide stopped showing the text, and on the editing page the who row is faded out I dont know why.

My second issue is that the top header and logo stopped showing as well.

    Home 4

The above is a link to my site.

    Hello abo.obaida,

For the faded Row element – most probably you have accidentally checked the “Disable row” checkbox in the Row settings.

As for the header and logo – I can see it working fine on your site.

    Regards,

Thank you for your response, I checked if it was checked disable row and it was not, however what I found was checked was to hide the content on mobile devices, I checked that to enable and it started showing on the page again. This leads me to my next problem, the header and logo area are shown with the mobile settings and not the regular settings. How can I re-change the menu back to the regular menu from the mobile one. Thank you

I think I have figured out the problem. The browser I am using (google chrome) is not showing me the menu as if I am viewing it from a desktop, rather it is showing me the menu for the mobile view. I tried disabling the responsive design from the theme options – general settings. And the menu was showing normally (without the logo) when I re-enabled the responsive design the menu turned into the mobile menu again. When I opened my website from another browser (internet explorer) the menu and logo were showing normally. I think the problem is that wordpress is reading that I am editing my website using my a mobile when I use google chrome this is why it is showing me mobile view menu.

Here is a link to an image showing google chrome browser with responsive design enabled: https://ibb.co/7z029fm

You can see the one showing on internet explorer is the regular one. How can I fix this with google chrome as it is my default browser.

I seem to have figured the problem, I opened my website using internet explorer and the Logo and menu bar were showing very normal, however on google chrome (my default browser) the menu bar showing is the one used for mobile. I went to general settings in the theme options and disabled the responsive design and the menu bar showed very normally, when I re-enabled the responsive design the menu went back to being the mobile menu (this is all using google chrome). So i think my problem is that wordpress is reading that I am viewing my website and editing it using mobile device. How can I fix this issue.

    Hello abo.obaida,

As I already explained in the other topic, most probably your Chrome browser is zoomed. You’d need to reset it by pressing Ctrl + 0 (control key and zero)

Thank you very much. This is a really easy solution 🙂
