ParticipantHello again 🙂
Could you test if it’s your theme or just a conflit in my website?
Visiting shop categories with more than 20/30 products causes an high CPU usage on my PC intel CORE i7, about(30%).
With Infinite Scroll enabled it’s impossible to navigate, loading about 200 products the website comes too slow. I’ve desabled the infinite scroll, paged 40 products, and the navigation is ok, but I’ve noticed this unusual cpu usage… and this is valid for the page opened only, without hover the thumbs! Please send me your IP in order to add a exception and you can test.
Thanks.February 6, 2021 at 7:13 pm #28747JorgePires

ParticipantI’ve noticed if I desable jquery.countdown.min.js the CPU runs smoothly. So I think is there any problem, every milisecond the js is called! Any way to request only the necessary and fire the execution after?

KeymasterHello JorgePires,
I am afraid we can’t replicate the problem. The countdown works absolutely fine causing no troubles. Could you, please give us a link where we can see the problem “live”?

KeymasterI have just checked your websites. It runs, scrolls and navigates absolutely smooth and no problems at all and I am with a slower i5 CPU. It’s usage varies from 8% to 55%, but that’s absolutely normal for a modern browser.
As for the countdown – of course it runs all the time. It’s a countdown set to work in milliseconds.
