Hi there,

After entering the Visual Composer plugin we have lost the edit functions on our main homepage through WPBakery.

Here is the comparison between homepage and a draft.

We thought that was perhaps due to needed update for WPBakery which was purchased with this theme, but seems that we cannot update it without your engagement.

In such case, you need to wait for your WordPress theme author to update WPBakery Page Builder on their side and push it to you. Also, support related questions should be addressed to your WordPress theme provide”

Hi JD,

The latest version of WPBakery Page Builder (v. 6.9.0) is available in the theme update v. 1.5.7 / 10.05.2022

You just need to update the theme and all it’s plugins. When you update the theme, the plugins (including the BabyStreet plugin and WPBakery Page Builder) can be updated under Appearance > Install Plugin page in your admin.

Thanks, we updated the theme accordingly.

Unfortunately, we still cannot edit the homepage the same way we can with other drafts.

Hello JD,

Can’t be 100% sure by looking at just screenshots, but most probably that page is set as shop or blog page, so it’s content is not directly editable.

Also, I can see you have Visual Composer installed. The theme was built to work exclusively with WP Bakery Page Builder, not with the Visual Composer Site builder.
