Hi widesign,

I am afraid there is no easy way to do this. The only option would be to edit the header.php template and insert the content you need. You’d also need to style it accordingly. Also, keep in mind that’s the standard place for the account, cart and search options.

Please tell us the how edit that in header.php. we need that compulsory. How to give our own links to the standard place for the account, cart and search options.
And one more thing, How to give own custom images to menu items? I have already added my own images to menu but its not showing. Please tell us how to solve this issue.

Hi widesign,,

For the custom link, I am afraid there is no simple instruction we could give you. It’s not just a copy/paste job. You’d need extensive PHP, CSS and HTML knowledge in order to do that. You’d need to use a child theme and edit the header.php template in it.

As for the images in the menu, there are instructions in the theme documentation on how to use the mega menu features, but the easiest way to learn how it’s done is to check the demo menu and see how it is done there.

Hello, You made it worse to have a theme that has no widget support. The white space where you have your favoraites, search and other icons, is supposed to be a widget area that we should be able to edit. Not making it editable is not something you can deny completely.

What we are expecting from you is to help us understand the location of this widget. How we can edit the icons such as favorites or what not. In case if we need to add a name to the icon, we should be able to do so. Again, not having widget support sucks.

For now, we are not looking for any custom changes. We only want to change the icons that show up in the right area and give a name to the icons, remove the icons that we don’t need, such as if we want to hide the search icon, we should be able to do so.

So, please let us know.

No, it is not a widget area and it was not supposed to support widgets. This area is not “widget area” in any theme.

There is no theme on the market that would let you add custom links, names, new icons etc. in this area. It is strictly for the mini cart module, account and wishlist.

As for hiding the icons, you can do this under Theme Options.

Can we import excel file to add menu items in the restaurant menu? After seeing the documentation also I am not getting any icons on the right-side menu.
I used custom link option to create a new menu, I have given link, image and also set as mega menu even though images are not displaying on the right menu.
Please let us know how to do that.

Hi widesign,

The mega menu options and icons are only visible when used in the Main Menu position.

As for the “Restaurant menu” – yes, this is a standard CPT (Custom Post Type), so you can create an import file. The easiest way to see how it’s done is to use the WordPress import/export module (or 3-rd party import/export plugin like WP All Import). Export just the restaurant menu post type and see what the structure should be. Than prepare your file and import it.

Please help us on the right side button, we didn’t find anything related to do that. Please see the screenshot, on right hand side it looks empty which is a bad design.
So tell us how to add button or else we will give details you can add that button. Let us know what option you need.

We have already explained that in order to do this, you’d need to edit the header.php template of the theme.

Of course that would require some serious PHP, HTML and CSS skills. It’s not something that can be done with a simple snippet, so you may need to hire a developer.

Unfortunately we are not available for customization work.
