KeymasterHello Cle,
Do you have some lazy-load feature enabled, or plugin for custom image formats (e.g. .webp images)? We have checked this and can’t replicate the problem on Safari (iPad and iMac).

ParticipantHi,
Currently I dont have any lazy-load enabled and no custom image formats. I am only using WP Super Cache. I have tested on two Mac laptops and it behaves the same.

KeymasterHello Cle,
We really can’t replicate the problem on our end. Did you check this article? May be it’s the same problem on your side. It looks like it happens on some systems running on Catalina version of mac OS.

ParticipantHi,
I have checked on multiple mac computers now, even with High Sierra and every one has the same issue, product images do not show up. Also I realised that the menu isn’t sticky on Safari aswell. I will link 4 screenshots so you can see side by side, the same page on Chrome and Safari. I hope we can fix this issue because the website is up and runing and my client is relying on it.
Thanks

KeymasterThe screenshots are really confusing. can’t really understand exactly which images are not loaded?
Do you have the same problem on the official theme demo on our server?

ParticipantHi,
The first two screenshots are from Safari and the other ones are from Chrome. As you can see products do now appear in Safari. I have made the screenshots like this so you can see what is going on in relation with other section, a blank page from Safari would not have helped.
I have checked your demos and this problem does not occur.Thank you.

KeymasterThat’s why I asked if it also happens for you on our demos, as we really can’t replicate the problem outside your site. Do you have plugins like JetPack or other “optimization” plugins (Autoptimize, FastestCache, Lazy-load plugins)?

ParticipantI have JetPack but none of the performance options are enabled. I also use WP Rocket premium but I had this problem prior to WP Rocket. I had Autoptimize actived few weeks ago but only for a brief time.

KeymasterCould you, please test with JetPack and WP Rocket disabled?
I can see your CSS and JS files are minified and combined. Probably there is something there breaking the theme’s JS loading sequence. Also, I can see there is an error in the console related to the browser push notifications. This may also cause Safari to stop processing the image loading.

ParticipantHi,
Sorry for the late response. I have tested with both plugins deactivated and it made no difference.
For push notifications i use YITH Desktop Notifications for WooCommerce. I deactivated it but still I have the same problem. - AuthorPosts
