ParticipantHello, 3 quick questions.
Im about done with my lafka theme
1. I need to add credit card icons at the bottom of the footer.
What is the best way to do this?
Iv added png icons onto the footer background image. For the website the icons appear but for mobile they do not.
What other way would you suggest.2. For the lafka theme. How do I adding shipping of a item to this food truck theme?
The company that owns this website has items that can be bought from the food truck and that they ship out from the warehouse.3. Do I need to purchase a plugin for the checkout page?

KeymasterHi LafkaUser87,
1. There is a widget called “Lafka Payment Methods”. You don’t need to use a footer background
2. Not really sure what do you mean. Could you, please explain with more details?
3. No, everything you see on the theme demo is available for free as theme features. No third party plugins needed.

Participant2. The theme is for food truck delivery. I’d also like the costumer to be able to pay for item and have the ability to ship it to their home address.
How do I enable shipping ?3. How do I activate Buy now button on my menu ?
here is the menu

KeymasterIn this demo there are no real products. It’s a static menu. You’d need to install WooCommerce and configure the theme shipping options.

Participant1. With this Demo, can I use the static menu? can I add shipping to this static menu? Or do I use the products section under woocommerce and edit the shipping there?
2.If I have to use the products under woocommerce, Can I export the static menu I already created and export it to products ?

KeymasterHi LafkaUser87,
As we already explained, the “Restaurant Menu” custom post type is not purchasable. It’s for restaurants that only want to list their menu without the option for online orders and payments.
You would need to install WooCommerce and create your products. The restaurant menu items can’t be converted to woocommerce products. You’d need to create them manually.

KeymasterHello LafkaUser87,
It’s just a standard WordPress menu and it works absolutely the same way as with any other theme. Menus are located under Appearance > Menus

ParticipantI started off with Shopify and been using it for years. WordPress is a little different, Iv only used it once before this. I looked there, ill try again sir.
So I went to woocommerce products plugin and put all the products in the same category.Which i did a few days ago.
Than I went to appearance>menus and tried finding the “category” with all the products from woocommerce to have it be on the main menu. The categories from woocommerce are nowhere to be found in appearance>menus sir.The website is 99% done. All I need is these products to appear on the home header menu. The theme doesnt seem to have that option for so woocommerce can link to the theme.

KeymasterSounds like the Product Categories are not enabled on your site. You’d need to open the “Screen options” in the top-right corner and mark the “Product Categories” checkbox.
