ParticipantHi,
I tried to change from drop down list to List View under Theme Options > Shop > Shop Pages Default Product Columns, however once that is change. Instead of List View it shows 1 column with large photos of each product.

KeymasterHi kevindoan
Make sure both the theme AND the Lafka plugin are updated and don’t forget to clear your site and browser cache.

ParticipantHi Dimitar,
Thanks a lot for your help. I managed to get the List View working now. Could you please also help with the Sidebar? I have enabled it but somehow it doesn’t show on the shop page https://dingtea.co.uk/shop/
I am trying to have something similar to your update 2.1 screenshot, so product categories on the left sidebar and each category the second I click it updates the list view accordingly on the right.
Thanks and best regards,
KevinP.S Thanks for a beautiful update, I can remove the WooTab plugin that I have purchased now and use yours.

KeymasterHi Kevin,
make sure there is a sidebar assigned for WooCommerce shop and category pages under Theme Options > Sidebars. Also, make sure the switch below the sidebar chooser select element is turned on.
BTW, if you’re happy with the theme and support, we’d really appreciate if you take the time to rate it on ThemeForest. You can do this in your Downloads page (the small stars bellow the green Download button) – https://themeforest.net/downloads . It helps us a lot to keep improving the theme and adding new features.

ParticipantHi Dimitar,
Thank you. I have turned everything ON but the sidebar is still not appearing under the Shop page. You can see the settings here –> https://prnt.sc/unw17e

KeymasterLooks like you are using WP Rocket. Is it possible that you forgot to clear the site cache? 🙂

ParticipantIt wasn’t due to the site cache but it looks like user have to manually ad under Customizing -> Widgets and add Product Categories to as Widget in order for the Shop page to show the Shop Sidebar.
Since your theme is getter better and faster, is there anyway to click on Product Categories and it’s products would load up immediately instead of opening the new page load for each category? As that adds a good few seconds load each time a user chooses another category.
Also, the product categories in a Shop Sidebar is not mobile device friendly.

KeymasterHello kevindoan,
Actually, Yes, you’d need to have some widgets enabled in order to show the sidebar, but it’s not theme related, so I thought it’s pretty clear.
As for the category pages, I am afraid this is how WooCommerce work. Each category is an archive that must be loaded.
Could you, please explain more about the product categories in sidebar not mobile friendly? Exactly what do you think is not OK there?
