brickplaystudio
ParticipantHello,
I just purchased this theme and imported the demo content. Unfortunately, only one version of the homepage shows and no other links/content is showing. How do I get it to show? Please let me know if this is normal or if there is an error that occurred that is preventing the content from showing.
For your reference, my website is brickplaystudio.co.nz. It’s a beta site so login info is:

ParticipantHello,
I just sent another message using your “GENERAL MESSAGES” form since there was some private information I did not want others to view publicly. I would appreciate it if you could check it and get back to me.

KeymasterHi Jeong,
Unfortunately, we can’t check your website. It looks like we can’t login.
As for the mail – we have just saw it.
We don’t have a problem someone asking for a refund publicly. It’s a normal thing and it doesn’t look bad at all.
However, I am afraid this is not a valid reason for refund. It’s absolutely clear from the theme description that it’s powered by WP Bakery. You knew that before you buy it, so it’s not a surprise. It’s clearly stated that theme was built to work exclusively with WP Bakery.
Refund is only offered if the theme is NOT as advertised OR if there is a serious theme related technical issue/bug/malfunction which can’t be addressed in a reasonable time frame.
Also, please note that we (authors) can’t issue a refund. It’s handled by the Envato team and request must be made in their official website.
Hope this helps.

ParticipantHello Dimitar,
I should’ve clarified what I meant about the refund. The reason I want the refund is that I am experiencing a technical issue related to the website not displaying properly. Only the homepage shows and every other link is just a blank white page (both on the live site and the editor). Even WooCommerce is not working properly for me (keeps saying “there was a problem updating your preferences” – I looked online and already tried the solutions suggested by others configuring the .htcaccess file, memory rewrite, wpconfig file, and permalink tweaking and still not working).
If you read my message carefully, you would’ve seen that I provided the login information. It’s obvious you did not take the time to read it carefully…For your reference, here is the login information again:

pw: Testing21!Also, if you provide me with an email address, I can send you a link to login to my wordpress dashboard to see if you can fix the issue yourself. Assuming this issue can’t be resolved, it does fall under the technical error category of the refund. I would like to launch my website soon, so I’d greatly appreciate it if you could give me an update soon.

ParticipantAssuming you can help me to get this theme to work, I am fine using it without requesting a refund.

KeymasterWe wasn’t able to login the first time. It kept asking for user and password. Now we managed to login.
You can give us admin access here. just don’t forget to mark the “Set as private reply” checkbox.
What we see there is definitely not theme related. If you give us access we will investigate what is causing it.

KeymasterEverything works fine now. Your permalinks settings were wrong. I have just fixed them for you.
Also, noticed you are missing some default WooCommerce pages (e.g. My Account page). You’d need to create them and assign them properly under WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced, as it’s currently a mess (checkout page assigned as account page etc.).
I didn’t want to run the import again, as I can see you have already made changes to the content and settings.

ParticipantIs there a reason the permalinks settings was incorrect? And why some of the WooCommerce pages are missing/a mess?
I did not even touch any of these settings – everything was left as is which means something went wrong during the demo import function. In fact, I just re-imported the demo content to see if the same thing would happen and indeed it had the same error with the settings all incorrect. You might want to look into that.

KeymasterThe reason is most probably that you have your WooCommerce already configured before the import. However, it looks like the My Account pages was manually deleted.
As for the permalinks, can’t really tell. This is not theme related and can’t happen during the import.
