ParticipantHi guys!
Quick question: On the menu pages, once you click on the product, you are redirected to the product page where you can add a button (“ORDER” button). How can I set that button to be an add to cart button? In order to have my clients order directly from the menu. I saw that you can add an URL to it from the product page, but it doesn’t help.
Thank you!

KeymasterHello denis_trs,,
Basically, the Restaurant Menu functionality wasn’t meant to be used for online orders. There is an option to add a button and it can be linked to products, but that’s an edge case. If you need online orders functionality, it would be better to use the WooCommerce products. Alternatively, you may add existing woocommerce products to the cart with some custom links, but it’s really not recommended and it’s also double work (to create both a menu item and a product). If it’s really important for you to use the menu instead of real products, here is a good explanation how to do it:

ParticipantI understand. Thank you!
I do have another big problem. My site has a critical health issue because WPBakery Page Builder has to be updated. I want to update it whithout buying a direct license.
In such case, I know I have to wait for you guys to update WPBakery Page Builder and push it to me, am I right?! Or there is something else I can do in order to solve this? Thanks again!

KeymasterHello denis_trs,
You just need to update the theme to it’s current version. WPBakery Page Builder v. 6.2 is included. When you update theme, navigate to Appearance > Install plugins and make usre you update ALL plugins, including the Lafka Plugin and WPBakery Page Builder.
BTW, if you’re happy with the theme and support, we’d really appreciate if you take the time to rate it on ThemeForest. You can easily do this from your Downloads page ( https://themeforest.net/downloads ) – the small stars bellow the green Download button. It only takes few seconds, but it helps us a lot to keep improving our themes and adding new features.

ParticipantI do have another question regarding my first one. Can you remove the link behind the products in this case? It is really awkward for the client to be able to click on a product from the menu, and then be redirected to a product page but without the “add to cart” option. Can it just be like a presentation menu? Where they can see the products as they are now, but not have the possibility to click on them. This way I ll keep the “online order” for orders and the “menu” for visual info.
Thanks a lot!

KeymasterYes, you can. Just leave the text and URL fields for the button empty and there will be no button.

ParticipantNo! Not the button. I need the menu page to be a static one. To not be able to click on the products. The button is on the product poge. The one I need not to be redirected to.

KeymasterAre you talking about this?
If so – there is an option in the menu shortcode settings called Static Menu
