I have a question. In the order type modal popup, I want to allow it to be closed, but if the customer closes it, I need to make it mandatory to select DELIVERY or PICKUP on the checkout page.

Right now, if the customer closes the order type modal popup, they can checkout without selecting one of these options and we have to call them to ask if they want delivery or pickup.

Even if the customer closes the order type modal popup, they can enter any address on the checkout page, including addresses outside our delivery range.

How can I make the DELIVERY or PICKUP option mandatory in order to finalize the order and ensure that the address indicated by the customer on the form is within our delivery range?

I am afraid that would not be possible.

The location confirmation popup is either mandatory or not. You can’t have it closable on the landing page and mandatory on the checkout page. The main idea is to check IF the users falls within your service area BEFORE you allow them to add products to cart and order. That’s how all similar websites and apps work (including Takeaway, Glovo/Foodpanda, McDonald’s, Domino’s etc.)
