    Hi,
    I am building a multivendor platform for online food ordering. Shipping is by distance.
    I set the condition: The price of delivery up to 2.00 kilometers is 1.50 KM.
    If the order amount is greater than 20.00KM, shipping is free.
    I order a dish that costs 4.00 KM from a store 1.35 km away.
    When I click on Checkout, I see that the price for shipping is 1.50 KM, so that is correct.
    I see a message that says if I order for another 16.00 KM, I will have free shipping.
    This is also correct information because I set such a condition.
    Therefore, the application applied this condition in this part.
    The text is:
    “Store name Shipping (Distance: 1.35km, Deliver upto: 15km) (Shop for KM16 more to get free shipping)
    I order an additional 5 pieces, a total of 6, the subtotal price is 24.00KM, so more than 20.00KM, but the shipping price is still 1.50KM???
    The text of the message is now: “Store Name Shipping (Deliver upto: 15km)”
    So, there is no longer a part that says that I need to order for 16.00 KM more to get free shipping, the application “knows” that the condition is met, but does not change the price for shipping?
    I use WCFM in two of my platforms, I use the same method for shipping, I use a different theme and this part works correctly.
    Pls, what’s the problem?

    Hi Edin,

    Sorry for the late response.

    I am afraid this is not theme related. You’d need to consult with your chosen multi-vendor plugin’s support team. We do not modify anything on the cart and checkout pages.

    thanks for your email.
    Let’s try to analyze and conclude what the problem is.
    I wrote that I use WCFM. I wrote that I made two different platforms with exactly the same versions of WCFM as the WCFM in the Rigid installation.
    Next, I wrote that these two platforms of mine work perfectly and accurately in relation to the issue I described. They have been working for more than a year without the issue I described.
    Before I sent this issue to the Forum, I did additional tests on 3 mobile phones and one tablet; three OS are Android, one OS is Huawei.
    On all these devices this function works perfectly, without this issue.
    Normally, I then tested on my platform with Rigid theme (https://naruci.live/).
    This issue exists on all 4 devices.
    Next, I want to mention that I did not install any additional plugins except for the plugins that were installed with the Rigid theme and the plugin that the Rigid theme required.
    Because of all these elements, I concluded that the problem is Rigid theme.
    But to prove that Rigid theme is not the cause of this issue, LET’S TEST YOUR ELEMAG INSTALLATION https://rigid.althemist.com/elemag/.
    Pls enable Shipping By Distance on Store Manager (Store Manager/Settings/Shipping Settings).
    Default Cost -0.00
    Max Distance – for example 15 kilometers
    Free Shipping Minimum Order Amount – for example USD 200.00
    Enable Local Pickup – Yes
    Local Pickup Cost – 0.00
    Distance-Cost Rules:
    Distance up to 1km – Cost 0.00 (Free Shipping)
    Distance up to 3km – Cost USD 5.00
    Then you choose a Vendor (eg Impas56) and for shipping set exactly the same elements regarding Shipping By Distance on Store Manager.
    When you do it, pls let me know, I will do the testing and let you know the result.
    IMPORTANT NOTE: I bought the Rigid theme because of the WCFM implementation.
    For now, I plan a total of 5 platforms, so I will need to buy 5 themes if they work (again, for now).
    Furthermore, you know that the world’s largest food delivery companies (Glovo, Wolt…), as well as all delivery companies that deliver products within one city or region, use Shipping By Distance.
    If Shipping By Distance does not work properly in a Rigid theme, you are losing a potentially large number of users.
    So you have a financial interest in checking whether this works.

    I will repeat once again, this works in WCFM, we know that the Cart page is generated by WooCommerce, so you don’t change that, but the fact is that these Cart and Checkout pages work on other themes, it doesn’t work on my Rigid platform
    Maybe something was done wrong on my end, but let’s test the Elemag platform.

    Sorry for the late reply. It is done on the demo for the Impas56 vendor.

    Anyways, please note that we do not modify ANYTHING vendor related and shipping related.

    I tested your demo, unfortunately it doesn’t work.
    I’ve been testing all day, I’ve tried to determine the reason, I’ve tried to determine maybe some plugin is causing the conflict, but I didn’t succeed.
    I can say that about 80% of this function works correctly, one part, say 20% does not work, but that makes this topic unusable.
    I am delighted with the Rigit theme, I have found a huge number of functions that delight me and I do not want to use another one.
    You have created a fantastic theme with many functions, with a large number of examples and it is clear that there must be bugs; you have spent a lot of time and it is a shame that some existing problem is not solved – it reduces your earnings.

    The plugin I use is WCFM, so the plugin you integrated your theme with. It’s not a plugin that I arbitrarily chose, it’s a plugin that you chose.
    Next, your demo is not working properly, there is an issue.
    If your demo works properly and my platform doesn’t, then the problem is on my end. But if your demo has an issue, it’s a problem in the theme.
    I think the logic is clear.
    Rigid theme is on the list of WCFM compatible themes (https://wclovers.com/wcfm-compatible-themes/)
    They say “The following is a list of themes that are fully compatible with WCFM Marketplace. Means, no CSS tweaking required. The themes mentioned here are either tested by our team, or the theme authors themselves.”
    The Rigid theme was also tested by Envato and claims that everything is fine; So Envato is wrong…They test badly…
    If the theme was tested by WC Lovers, they did it badly too…
    BUT ALL THAT DOESN’T MATTER – I WANT TO USE RIGID FOR ALL MY PLATFORMS AND A SOLUTION HAS TO BE FOUND.
    WC Lovers says:”We do not develop or provide any support for these themes. For any queries or support, please contact the theme author directly”
    I can’t ask them for support because they will say: “This function works with thousands of other themes, so it’s not a problem we made”
    I spent three days related to this issue; pls spend a few hours too if it takes that long to find out what is causing this problem.
    But I believe you are excellent programmers, you don’t need so much time.
    Or if you think the problem is WCFM after all, solve it with WC Lovers.

    Hi brank.ba,

    We will check this again, but there is literally NOTHING we changed on that functionality, so there is nothing in the theme that could affect it. Will let you know what we found asap.

    thanks for your answer.
    I absolutely understand what you are writing, but the fact is that your demo also has this issue. You are a great developer.
    For a person to be a great developer, he must be smart, logical and curious (to discover new things).
    If your theme is the ONLY ONE WITH THIS ISSUE, don’t you as a developer, as the owner of such a good theme, want to find out what the reason is?
    All those who want to make a shipment depending on the distance (which is 90% of vendors within one city) cannot use your theme, so you lose money.
    But you don’t check again for now, you wait for me to do the WCFM ULTIMATE installation and for me to check what will happen.
    If there is an issue, I will contact WC Lovers first and I will forward their response to you.
    FINALLY, I’M BEGGING YOU: DO NOT UNDERSTAND MY WRITING AS CRITICISM. I HAVE THE BEST INTENTIONS AND WISHES. I HAVE WRITE TO YOU SEVERAL TIMES, YOUR THEME IS GREAT, I LIKE IT A LOT, I WANT TO USE IT. I HAVE NOT FOUND A BETTER THEME THAN RIGID FOR THIS USE. BUT THIS ISSUE MAKES IT UNUSABLE FOR THIS TYPE OF MULTIVENDOR ONLINE ORDERING.
