ParticipantHi,
Unfortunately, the background image for the product page needs to have the right format and many products don’t have, looking very weird.
Because of that, we’re now using the “default” option, without the background and the woocommerce gallery.
I’m not sure if I can change this, but the gallery image shows one below the other (2 rows+) instead of being a carousel. If so, how we would change it?November 1, 2020 at 10:23 am #26834Althemist
KeymasterHello mou,
You just need to set your site to use the standard WooCommerce gallery. The setting is located under Theme Options > Shop > Product Page Gallery Type
BTW, you can still use the other gallery type on products with good enough images, as you can set it also on per product basis (e.g. set the default WooCommerce gallery for all products in the theme options AND change it in the product settings for specific products or vice versa).
Hope this helps.

ParticipantHello Dimitar,
Thanks for your reply.
I’m sorry, maybe I was not clear enough. I’m already using the WooCommerce gallery, but my question/issue is making the additional images display like a carousel. Using the woocommerce Gallery it appears rows, so if I have 15 photos of additional photos, it will appear 3 rows, instead of a useful carousel. Is it possible to make the additional images display in a carousel?Thank you,

KeymasterNo, I am afraid that would not be possible.

ParticipantHi,
My product gallery images were thumbnails along the bottom of the main product image (on single product gallery page). But since the theme update, the product gallery images are full size and vertically inline. Which is what I think Mou is trying to explain.
How do I get the product gallery images back to small thumbnail horizontally along the bottom of the main product image? OR is that called carousel?
Thanks

KeymasterHello bpotter,
No, it’s a different problem. Carousel is called when only 4-5 images are displayed in a rown and you can click left/right arrows to view more images.
