Darko
ParticipantHello,
I have noticed that if the user lists the product images in quick view and after that select a variant, the correct image is not shown for the variant. Please check the link for more context about the issue.

KeymasterIt doesn’t change in the product single page too, which means there is no special image set for the variation.

ParticipantThat is not true. Please check the link Also if you check the gif that I have sent in the previous message, firstly I show that the image is changed correctly, then I do list the images and then when I try again to select variation again it is not selected correct image.
I guess you haven’t seen the change in the product single page because you need to select both attributes(Size and Color) in order the image to be changed. It was strange for me as well why when you have only one option need to be selected but it is working in that way.

KeymasterDid you changed something meanwhile? I have just checked again and now everything works fine both in the product single page AND in the quickview for this product:

ParticipantNothing have changed and the issue is still there. It is important to follow the order of actions:
1. Open the product in quick view
2. List the images
3. Select size and after that color. The issue is not related only to this product it is a general issue with all products.
Tested on Firefox v.74.0 and Google Chrome v.86.0.4240.111 also the same issue is on mobile.January 26, 2021 at 9:35 am #28495Althemist
KeymasterThat’s exactly what I did and it works absolutely fine. The main image change accordingly when you change the variation.
However, not that it would change the FIRST (main) image, as this is how WooCommerce work. If you listed the images and stopped on a different image (not the first one) you’ll not see the image changes, as there is currently another image active in the carousel.

Yeap, that is the exact case 🙂 Not very user-friendly thought should be any way of fixing it?
Also, I just noticed the “Size Chart” button that is in the product view is not in the quick view, any chance we can have it there?

KeymasterHi Darko,
1. I am afraid there is no way to change that. It’s how WooComemrce work. Not theme related.
2. The size chart doesn’t appear in the quickview for technical reasons. You just can’t open popup inside a popup. That’s why it’s called “qiuck view” – it offers a limited information before you decide to open the full single product page.
