    Is there a way to create rules for what is shown as related products? It seems that many times the related products are not related at all. What is the criteria?

    Hello jgitta,

    I am afraid no. This is not theme related. It’s a WooCommerce feature. Related products in WooCommerce always show random products from the same category.

    Alternatively, if you need to have more control, you may use the up-sell products, instead of related.
