ParticipantHi Dimitar,
I am using the classic home page layout (ecular.in).
Now i wanted the Mobile layout of the slider to 1:1, instead of the columns being stacked up now 1:4 i think.
I tried doing it through WP Bakery, under the slider column customize option – under the responsive layout section, where the default width is set to 12 columns, and i set the responsive mobile width to 12 columns as well, but no luck. The columns are still stacking up.
Request your help please.
Regards,
Vaibhav

KeymasterHello Vaibhav,
I am afraid what you describe just can’t be done, unless you use some really complex CSS rules.

ParticipantHi Dimitar,
So you are suggesting i would need help from a CSS expert?
Is there not a CSS snippet you could provide me?
Also this is a basic content slider and not using revolution slider, why is it that me setting mobile display to 12 column in WP bakery not solving the display issue?

KeymasterHello Vaibhav,
Yes, such customization would require expert CSS skills. Unfortunately, we can’t provide such help, as it would require a lot more than a “snippet” and customization is beyond the scope of the theme support. We can help with small customization requests, but what you need would require an extensive customization of both the theme styles and the WP Bakery Page Builder styles.
If you need such a slider, I’d suggest using the Revolution slider plugin (included with the theme), as it can be set to show exactly the same sliders on both desktop and mobile devices. You’ll also find the slider documentation in the theme package.

KeymasterHello Vaibhav,
the username and password are actually useless without the website URL. 🙂

KeymasterHello Vaibhav,
I can’t see any broken layout on your page. Everything seems normal.

ParticipantHey Dimitar,
As mentioned earlier the layout is fine on desktop. However it is broken and the slider is not visible on Mobile. Kindly check the mobile platform. Thank you.

Vaibhav

KeymasterWhen I said that I have checked your website I meant on mobile of course. Everything seems fine on my end, except that your slider have a strange image placed on top visible on both desktop and mobiles. No broken layout on both devices and no “formatting of the theme goes berserk” in any form.

KeymasterHello Vaibhav,
Did you made any CSS changes to the theme? In the original theme the styling is not like this:

ParticipantHi Dimitar,
I have not touch the CSS or modified anything in the theme.
For a quick fix temporary solution – I played around with the logo size, reduced it to as much as i could and have selected the menu on thumb-space option for mobile – the moment I use show in header option for the menu (Which i wanted), the same problem of alignment of icons happen.
