    Dear Support,

In your documentation for Rigid, it shows that I have to register my license, however, I don’t have that option in my dashboard. Can you please tell me how to send you a screen shot. It makes it very hard and very time consuming when can’t show you what the issue is.

I have already entered my Envato API key in another section as instructed.

I am unable to activate WPBakery yet because it states that I have to purchase the license to do so. It does say on your website that there are no paid plugins to install with Rigid, but WPBakery is. I have to pay to get a license and activate it.

Is there something wrong? Should this be for free? And is this why I can’t see the same options on my dashboard as you have on your instructions??

    Thank you,
    Belinda

    Hello Belinda,

You don’t need to register your license anywhere, except here in the forums. Most probably there is some old information left form early theme versions where there was a license activation indeed. Nowadays everything is done automatically.

As for the WP Baakery – The WP Bakery Page builder and Slider Revolution are so-called “bundled plugins”. They are fully functional and doesn’t require activation. However, you don’t own a separate license and you can’t have automatic updates. New versions of the plugins are shipped with theme updates.

Here is more information and the official Envato policy on bundled plugins:

    https://help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/213762463-Bundled-Plugins

It’s some kind of “marketing strategy” from plugin authors to get more direct sales. To be completely honest, we don’t know why Envato tolerates this.

Anyways, this should not affect what options you see in the dashboard. If there is something else you believe missing, please let us know.

    Regards,
    Dimitar
