Since my last post been marked as “resolved” and i got no help at all except some “looks like its working” I have to open a new topic.

My webshop is running, and the shipping fee is not working at all.

Local pickup option missing I can not add local pickup as it advertised in the documentation.

Shipping fee on RANDOM orders getting set to free when it should not be.

Settings are correct, I tried with plugins turned off, the issue is the same.

I hope this time I will get help.

I can see several problems on your site:

1. You are not using the latest theme version, where the shipping options are greatly improved.

2. You only have 1 Google Maps API key, while you need 2 separate keys and they must be configured as explained in the settings

3. We have just checked the modal (popup) and it seems to work absolutely fine. When we enter the address (Érd, Kovács Street 6, Magyarország). However, it Looks like Google doesn’t recognize the full administrative address, so you’d need to manually add the County (Pest).

Please, before we continue checking your site, update the theme and all plugins (including the Lafka plugin).

Thank you, I fixed what you said. Now the local pickup and the modal works. But shipping fee is on some reason is free for every order within the city.

and within this should be free

I use 2 api key as well.

Also the issue disappears for a short time if I log in to admin, even if the issue is on my phone and I log in on laptop.

If the problem disappears when you login, it may be cache related. Do you have a caching plugin enabled on your site (or some server side caching on your hosting)?

No cache is enabled. I also added this to htaccess:

Update:

If I try on incognito for example, regardless if I am logged in to admin, for the first try it gives the wrong amount for delivery but if I refresh the price is good. Again, no cache is enabled. What could it be?

Hello,
New update:

I figured out, that admin has nothing to do with this issue.
Its always like this: open a browser, create an order and the shipping price will be wrong. Either is free, or if I turn the free shipping off, than an other random shipping price will apply but definitely not the good one.

If you refresh the browser the price will be corrected. After this if you delete from cookies the “wp_woocommerce_session” cookie then the issue starts over again.

Update again:

I have found and even worst problem. Regardless, what shipping zone is being calculated at the moment good or bad, the FIRST shipping method’s price will be added to the final amount at any given point.

Please see attached images.

The shipping zone is calculated as “free” (it should be 800 for the address) but the first option in woocommerce shipping zone will be added anyways.

If i refresh the page, the zone issue disappears, but still the first option on woo shipping being added to the total.
(i named the zones with the fee included in the name, so you can see what is going on)

At the moment we try on your website with the following address:

ZIP: 2030
STREET: Tárnoki street 1
CITY: Érd
COUNTRY: Hungary
COUNTY: Pest

There is one main problems – Google doesn’t auto recognize the County (Pest). Unfortunately, we can’t change this. It’s how google parse the addresses in your country.

When we manually select Pest, the system offers two shipping methods:

1. FREE

and

2. Átmenetileg a szállítási díj-kalkulátor nem működik. A díjat a diszpécser adja a rendeléshez.

Both are shown, because both are free (equal shipping fee).

We tried several times and refreshed the page several times. Nothing change.

When we try with the other address:

ZIP: 2030
STREET: Kovács street 6
CITY: Érd
COUNTRY: Hungary
COUNTY: Pest

It’s the same, because this is how the shipping methods are set AND the “Show only lowest cost shipping method” option in Lafka Shipping Settings is enabled.

Did you check the admin? I few days ago I turned off all the shipping areas the text ” Átmenetileg a szállítási díj-kalkulátor nem működik. A díjat a diszpécser adja a rendeléshez.” means this function is not working now. If you want to test you should enable the shipping areas in wooComerce shiping areas.
