hello i have two issues 1. when users are logged in the shop displays the oldest products first not sure why this just happened for no reason pehaps it is a bug when a cetren number of products is reached. when not logged in they display normal order

    2. the broswer caching on this theme is awuflue how can i disable it. have tried plugins they dont work with it this is much worse for mobile users. if i try to edit the theme fuctions file i get an error that an if stament is wrong this is not a setting i have chnaged

other minor issues are venors not beable to see recent products on their dashboard and not being able to remove the header on the shop meaning i am focused to have a large ugly white space

    Hello custardcolonel,

    1. This is definitely not theme related problem. Most probably you’d need to “recount terms” and “Regenerate Product lookup tables” under WooCommerce > Status > Tools. This can usually happen when updating woocommerce to newer version.

    2. Not really sure what do you mean about caching. How come the “browser caching on this theme is awful”? The theme itself doesn’t have any caching built-in. Please explain.

As for errors after editing functions.php – it clearly states that the edited code contains errors. If you’re not an experienced developer you should not make nay changes there. Also, directly editing the functions.php is very dangerous. You should use the child theme and make changes in it’s functions.php

The vendor recent products are probably related to the first problem. This is not theme related. Removing the header on shop is also part of the multi-vendor plugin functionality. It’s not from the theme, so you should probably consult with the plugin support team.

right i know what im doing with the fuction php file you have errors in your fuction php i will try the woo comcrec however no update was made. and as it works when not logged in i think it is safe to say this is a theme bug.

you didnt ever read my message properly i dont even need to edit the fuction .php file for there to be errors i just click update without doing anything and it shgows the errors that are inbulit into the theme.

i am an expreanced developer mabye check your code before talking down to people

ok so header from the whole site is what i mean your theme header is massive dont answer muh must be nothing to do with us. before anything is insatalled your theme has a massive ugly white space.

this is all pretty rich coming form a development that doesnt even use the moden customise theme editior, please answer my questions rather than deflecting and trying to blame stuff that has nothing to do with it.

    Hello custardcolonel,

    1. There are no errors in our functions.php. That’s absolutely sure – otherwise the theme would not work at all. I have read your comments very carefully, you can be sure.

    2. The product sort problem – if you were right, it’d be the same on our demo. As you can see both logged in and not logged in users see the the same product sorting. There could be some plugin on your site causing the trouble. We can’t really tell as never saw your site and how it behaves. If you provide a link and temporary admin access, we may try to investigate further.

Also, the fact that there are different results for logged in and logged out users strongly suggests there is a problem with the server cache, not browser cache. Browsers don’t make a difference between the two. Caching plugins do!

    3. As an experienced developer yourself, could you please tell us exactly where do you “click update without doing anything and it shgows the errors that are inbulit into the theme”?

    4. As I already explained, the theme itself doesn’t have ANY in-built caching mechanism.

    5. The “massive header” – the are multiple header options. We can’t know what are you talking about without even seeing your site. At least provide a working link where we can see the problem “live”. It’s starnge you call it “ugly” as you decided to purchase the theme. Sounds like you liked it at that moment.

    6. Last, but not least – Please, note that we are trying to HELP YOU and we would not tolerate such a language! If you really believe we suck and our theme is full of bugs, please kindly apply for a refund and keep using Oean WP. We would gladly approve your refund request.

This is a 5-stars rated theme and most of the ratings are for support and code quality. Near 1000 buyers are using the theme on their live shops and no one ever reported such a problem, so I would suggest you consider the possibility that there is something else wrong on your installation and if you really need us to help you calm down and keep the communication positive.
