Hi Team,
I have got Google API working now. Made 4 shipping zones – 5km, 10km, 15km radius restriction in the shipping method.

Now when i open the website incognito – firstly, there is no option to close the location popup even if i enabled “close popup” in the settings.

Secondly, ship page is not showing any of the products – order online page.

I assigned 40 products to 1 branch. But nothing shows after selecting the branch in popup.

Thirdly, I have some products which can be sent across the country and should not be restrcited by distance. I made a shipping zone for that with minimum amount for free shipping. But if i select current branch, its restricted. Ill create another branch and not limit it by distance possibly and name it so that people understand its for courier products.

Got my own reply. The comma was being treated as 2 locations instead of 1.

But close button doesnt appear to close popup if i dont want to select a location and simply brownse. I shouldnt be forced to select a location.

Hi anchitkawaatra,

There is a setting for this under Lafka Shipping Settings > Branch Locations. You’d need to enable the close button.

However, note the it is not recommended if you have “products per branch” enabled, as without the user’s location the system wouldn’t know which products to sow and the shop will be empty.

Yes, I have set option to SHOW CLOSE. But doesnt happen. You can check my website. No close area and a person has to enter something to proceed.

Also, if someone has to enter some location to enter, how will google crawl my website and see my products? It will not be able to trace my products and SEO as such wont help because google may not be able to read the website without the initial location enter?

I Have disabled the option for different products can be in different branch. Then close option comes. But i think i cant add different products to different branches now. Actually branch is just 1. I have 10 products that are sent all over the country. And rest bakery food goes locally. I created 2 branch locations at same place itself. 1 with shipping area entire country and other with radius shipping method to calculate shipping.

When you have products per branch, the close button doesn’t show, because without a branch selected, the system can’t show products.
