ParticipantHello,
I use the page Sortable menu!
I have changed the names of the product categories in the store in Bulgarian language!
In the page Sortable menu the categories do not change, as I have changed them in Bulgarian! Even the number of categories does not match the ones created for the products!
How to sync the created product categories in the store with page Sortable menu?September 26, 2023 at 8:35 am #37924service
ParticipantHello,
I realized that the Sortable menu page uses a separate “Restaurant Menu” module! In this “Restaurant Menu” module, it has its own products and categories that have nothing to do with the products and categories in the store! What is the purpose of this “Restaurant Menu” module? Can the “Restaurant Menu” module take products and categories from the main products in the store? Can there be synchronization between “Restaurant Menu” module and the main products in the store?
I just want to make a sortable menu of the main products and categories, which is like a “sortable-menu” page!October 5, 2023 at 2:25 pm #37955Alex
KeymasterHello service,
Yes, the “Restaurant menu” is a custom post type with fields and layout similar to the WooCommerce product, but it is not part of WooCommerce.
The main purpose of it is to create restaurant site without the use of WooCommerce and without the possibility to order products. For information purpose only. With it is also easy to build restaurant like menus using the appropriate shortcodes / WPBakery elements.
Later we’ve created the same “restaurant menu” layout for the ordinary WooCommerce products, so they can appear with the same layout. It is called “List View”.
But we did not adapt the “sortable” layout. So, in short, no, currently you can’t create sortable categories with the WooCommerce products.

ParticipantHello,
Ok, I got it. The Sortable Menu page is built with the products and categories from the Restaurant Menu module and they have nothing to do with WooCommerce products! - AuthorPosts
