Hi,

I have built my Front Page with the Rigid woocommerce theme and want all new visitors to land on this page when they visit my website. For example, my homepage is http://www.example.com. This landing page is set in woocommerce as my ‘Front Page’.

However, if a new visitor tries to visit my landing page (set as my Front Page) at http://www.example.com, they are automatically redirected to the ‘My Account Page’ at http://www.example.com/my-account/. Only once a visitor registers to my website will they be able to visit my homepage/Front Page at http://www.example.com without being redirected. I want new visitors to land on my homepage, and therefore I want to stop redirecting them to the ‘My Account Page’.

I changed my woocommerce settings so that the ‘My Account Page’ was also my homepage. However this means the page redirects infinitely, as it redirects from http://www.example.com (Front page) to http://www.example.com (My Account Page) constantly until it errors out.

I have been googling for days trying to find a way to prevent this redirect. I don’t want visitors to be redirected to the ‘My Account Page’ as it forces customers to make an account.

Please help!

I am afraid we can’t just guess what could be wrong there. If you give us temporary admin access to your site, we can check what could be wrong. Probably wrong settings of the WordPress and WooCommerce.

No, I am afraid we can’t use “remote call”. You can give us username and password here by using the “set as private reply” feature.
