ParticipantHi there,
Is there a way of adjusting the position of expandable categories (SHOP, LookBook, Blog)? Whenever moving the cursor on SHOP or any other category, the white window with subcategories is blocking the view of the main categories. Is there any solution for that?

JD

ParticipantHi,
Maybe if you post a PrintScreen to see I may help.

KeymasterNot really sure what do you mean. A screenshot wouldn’t really help. Please, provide a working link where we can see the problem “live”.

Participanthttps://pasteboard.co/JgzuWXc.png here are our main categories.
https://pasteboard.co/Jgztdv3.png here are the subcategories. As you can see the subcategories window is blocking the view of the main ones.
Thanks,

KeymasterThe problem here is that you have too many links in your main menu, so it doesn’t fit where it should be (in one line with the logo and icons). I’d suggest rethinking your menu structure as the only option in this case (e.g – all baby products under single 1-st level menu item). 10 1-st level links in a menu are just too much. There is simply no way to fit them on the screen.

ParticipantWe only decided to go with this menu structure since combining all baby products under 1 single 1st level menu item (like SHOP in the original set up) made it impossible to view all of the subcategories (in the previous set up all of baby product categories were under SHOP). The view of the drop-down menu including subcategories was cut at the bottom of the page and only computers with high resolution were capable of viewing the whole drop-down menu. That’s why we decided to move these subcategories to the main menu.

ParticipantAlso, combining all baby product categories under 1 single 1st level menu item made the menu in mobile version look quite not really transparent and esthetic- that was another reason why we went with it.
Have a look at the original set up with all baby products and categories under SHOP- https://pasteboard.co/JgIGdqyw.jpg
This is our current set up- https://pasteboard.co/JgIHDWm.jpg

KeymasterHello 4familyes,
I understand the problem. However, there is simply no way to have so many link in one line. The main problem is that because of the length, the entire menu falls down under the logo and icons line, while the mega menu is positioned relative to the header top.
I guess your best option would be to build two different menus – one for mobiles and one for desktop. The theme already have this feature.
