    Hi,

We just renewed the support for this theme, and installed the latest version on our Dev server. However, something is not working right, and the Theme Option page is not the same as on our Live server.

There are also many other issues, which I think they are caused by the same root cause.

For example, at the front end, there is a huge amount of space above the site, and for some reason, the Search box is appearing there. The live site doesn’t look like this. Also, the floating header are not appearing. Just to list a few.

I understand that this is probably out of the scope of your support, but I would greatly appreciate it if you could take 5 minutes to take a look at our Dev server to see what may be wrong. We have to get the Dev server installation working properly to reflect the Live server, in order to effectively develop the site, I hope you can understand.

I will send the access info to the Dev server in a private post to you.

Thanks in advance and it is nice to be working with the Rigid Theme and your team as well. You guys are one of the very best theme developers available 🙂

    Hi zorro2288,

It looks like the header.php structure is broken somewhere. It’s definitely not theme related, so we can’t really provide help, but I guess the problem is caused by a plugin modifying the code OR some changes you made to the child theme.

The Rigid theme evolved quite a lot since you purchased your license and there are tons of changes made to the code base.

Make sure you’re running the latest theme version and also all theme plugins are up to date. If the problem persists, start disabling plugins one by one, until you find out which one is causing the problem.

There is something called “bis_re_hide” in your page code and it looks like it’s one of the reasons. It’s not part of the theme, so I can’t diagnose it further.

    Regards,
    Dimitar

    Hi Dimitar,

It is so nice to see you again 🙂

I hope you and your team are doing well.

And thanks for the advice. We found the bad plugin that was causing all the problems on the Dev site.

We look forward to working with you soon.
