    Hello Admin!

I got an email that there is an update for the theme babystreet. I downloaded the zip file but I don’t know how to update the theme manually. I just don’t want to destroy anything on the webshop so could you please help how should I do that so that everything stays as it is right now? I don’t use a child theme.

    Thanks a lot!
    D.

    Hi dora,

the easiest way to update the theme would be with the official Envato Market plugin. It’s included with the theme and you can install it from Appearance > Install plugins page. When you configure it, you’ll get automatic updates directly in your dashboard.

Alternatively, you may update the theme manually via FTP. Just download the latest files (installable WordPress zip file). Unzip it on your computer. Navigate to wp-content/themes/babystreet folder on your server and replace the files inside with the files from the zipped folder.

    That’s it.

Whichever option you chose, whenever you update the theme itself, always check under Appearance > Install Plugins if there are updates for the theme plugins too.

    Hope this helps.

    Hello once again!

I just did the update as suggested, through the Theme update. Everything went well but now I see that if I click on the main menu ex. SALE or NEW etc. the site is showing a wrong design. It is slipped to the right side.

Can you please help? How can I solve this?

    Thanks a lot!!

    Hi Dora,

I am afraid we can’t just guess what could be wrong. Please, provide a working link to your site and temporary admin access, so we can check.

That’s not related to the latest update.

It looks like you have set fullwidth row on a page with a sidebar. You just need to set the row containing your products to standard. We did it for you and it’s now OK.
