KeymasterHello petit,
Some of those text strings are located in the theme, others are in the theme plugin (BabyStreet plugin) and some of them are part of the WooCommerce plugin. As for the “Size” text – this is not a string to be translated. It’s the name set for the attribute under Products > Attributes.

ParticipantI have done these translations but there are words that follow English. Please tell me exactly where to change it or fix the .pot file. URGENT.

KeymasterHello Petit,
as I already explained, the best way to translate the strings would be with Loco Translate.
1. The Categories word is not part of the theme. It’s part of the WooCommerce translation.
2. “Continue reading” string is in the theme language files
3. “New” string is in the theme language files
4. “prev”, “next” and “post”/”product” strings are in the theme language files
5. Related Posts/Products are again in the theme strings
You should NEER change the .pot files! The translation is done entirely in the Loco Translate plugin.

ParticipantThe translation has been done with the LOCO plugin as you have indicated, but you say words have NOT been translated.
I’ve been telling you for a week, can you review it at once?
I have told you, I have sent you screenshots, what do you need the most to solve it?https://drive.google.com/file/d/1cj4yhhWAHQNSUDc_O04_XqV1uBcRQtVI/view?usp=sharing

KeymasterI am afraid we can’t review the settings by looking at screenshots. if you give us temporary admin access, we can check what could be wrong.

KeymasterHello Petit,
We have just checked your website and everything seems to be fine. However, we can’t be 100% sure, as we don’t speak Spanish. We have also tried to translate the same strings on our own server and everything seems fine, so it’s probably something in your Loco Translate settings. It could also be related to your maintenance plugin or some other plugin conflict, but again, we can’t be 100% sure.
Anyways, it’s definitely not theme related, so I guess your best option would be to ask the Loco translate support team.

ParticipantIt’s not a plugin problem. On day 9 (10 days ago) I said I had done the translation manually with the poedit software (https://poedit.net/) and it doesn’t work either. It’s a problem with your .pot files

KeymasterHello petit,
As I already explained, using poedit is not the best way, as it alters the files which are generated based on lines in the code, because of the WPML compatibility. It’s not a problem with the .pot files, because it works absolutely fine on all sites, except yours.
A simple example (check the “Continue reading” button here):

Leaving a 1-star review when we are trying to help and give you directions where to look for the issues is not the best way to get your problems solved!

ParticipantI had to fix your code errors to manually translate the texts. A shame.

KeymasterYou’re the only one out of 600 users that need to “fix code errors” in order to translate the theme, but if you say so, it’s probably true.
Good luck with your current and future projects. 🙂

ParticipantHi,
it’s really interesting. I would like to know where is the langage file in the theme (ftp bin) ?” 2. “Continue reading” string is in the theme language files
3. “New” string is in the theme language files
4. “prev”, “next” and “post”/”product” strings are in the theme language files
5. Related Posts/Products are again in the theme strings ”In order to keep my website pretty fast, i’ll try not to download Loco Plugin but i’ll make it manually ; if it’s in javascript, is there other files that point to the langage theme file ?
Best regards,

KeymasterHi Abla-vetement,
The language files is inside the theme /languages folder and also inside the plugin (Babystreet plugin) /languages folder. All strings are in thos files.
However, it is STRONGLY not recommended to do it manually, as you may break the entire site! Loco Translate will not slow down your site at all.
Also, please whenever you have questions, always open your own topic and don’t post in other user’s topics.
