I noticed for a while that when I try to upload images to my media, I can still upload stuff by dragging the files into the upload window but I can no longer upload stuff there when I click the “upload” button? I checked if an update was needed but my site is up to date this time.

This sounds more like a server problem OR a JS error on your site. What kind of error you get on unsuccessful uploads?

I do not get any messages when I try to upload images via the upload button. nothing happends when I clock on it as if it’s broken or something. What are JS errors? I’m not sure if it is a server error. The rest of the website and dashboard works just fine.

If there is no error displayed and the upload button just do noting, there is probably a JS (JavaScript) error on your site. Could be caused by a plugin or some custom code somewhere. As this is not theme related, I am afraid we can’t really provide much help.

I’d suggest disabling all plugins that doesn’t come with the theme and see if it works. If so, start enabling them again one by one and find which one is causing the problem.

I have tried disabling some of the plugins and so far no luck. The only plugins I did not disable however are the zass and woocommerce plugins…I am not sure if my site get’s messed up if I disable these even for a short time?

Yes, it’d probably be messed up. Could you, please provide temporary admin access, so we can check that for you?

Hello,

I noticed that I am able to use the upload button again. Was it something that you managed to fix to get it working again? And if so, could you please explain to me what it was so I will know what to do if this happends again in the future?

No, we didn’t make any changes. I guess it was some plugin conflict there. Did you update or remove some plugin on your site?

No not that I’m aware of. I did try to update the WPbakery plugin but was unable to because I didn’t have a license key. The only other plugin that I did manage to update was for the shipping options but I have no clue how that would be connected. Ah well, at least it works again.
